Stayed Nov 25, 2025The best positive comment I can make is if asked, “would you stay again?”, my answer is absolutely! Perfect location providing a respite from everyday life. Plenty of space for two families with teens and plenty of outdoor activities nearby. We were able to easily make and reheat Thanksgiving dinner followed by s’mores and football in the backyard. Loved every minute.

Stayed Oct 31, 2025The host is absolutely fantastic. The farm house was perfect for our wedding weekend in Orange. The house quite simply is a home the minute you walk in. Sunrise coffee with the cows and listening to the night time wildlife around the firepit made for a most enjoyable but long day. Come and see this place for youself and enjoy.

Stayed Mar 7, 2025The Manor House was perfect for our needs! We had multi-generational family members stay here as part of an 80th birthday celebration in the Charlottesville area, and the home (and the owner and property manager) were wonderful. The owner and property manager's communication was clear and very proactive, there is a detailed and informative digital welcome pack for guests, the home is comfortably and beautifully decorated, the views out every window are so peaceful, and everything was as advertised (and then some!). This property is geared with the guest and great quality service in mind!

Stayed Nov 1, 2024This was one of my favorite rental properties— and I have stayed at a number. A few families gathered here for a fall weekend and it was perfect for both the adults and the kids. The kids loved the huge backyard to run around and loved being able to visit the cows and donkeys. The house is beautifully furnished. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and greeted us at check-in. Would definitely recommend this home and plan to come back soon!

Stayed Oct 24, 2024The Manor House at BDR Ranch is a most amazing place! From the moment we drove onto the property we all knew it was perfect. The house itself is beautiful and so incredibly comfortable. The land surrounding the house is awesome and the cows give it an even better atmosphere. We had 6 women in our group and we all felt that this was a perfect place for us to relax and enjoy our 60th birthday celebration together!
