Ray’s place is a wonderful oasis of relaxation, calm and beauty. Our family really enjoyed the quiet of the space and the beautiful grounds of the home. We loved how the house was close to town but also very quiet. We would love to return again.
Very comfortable and thoughtfully decorated house, well stocked with everything you might need, with a cute back porch overlooking a beautiful lawn and long pond. Ray is really attentive to his guests and makes everyone feel at home (he lent us things of his own and gave our daughter a spider plant as a parting gift). Already booked another date
My husband and I wanted a few days with our oldest son before dropping him off for his Junior year at West Point. Ray's place was perfect for us! We had our own entrance to the entire lower floor of a 2 story house on the large property. The house was well equipped and thoughtfully decorated. My husband enjoyed the Hudson Valley books. I loved the big window looking out to the pond. The three of us enjoyed the fresh eggs, walking the property, sitting on the back porch, grilling one evening and simply being together. Thank you Ray!
Great location, near town but on a peaceful country spot. This old but nicely updated and furnished farmhouse had a front and a back porch.
A friend and I like to celebrate our April birthdays with a long weekend of rock climbing in the New Paltz area. The Farm House was perfect for this purpose and we will certainly book again in the future. Less than five min from New Paltz and it's many restaurants, yet situated in a quiet country setting, the lodging was the perfect mix of convenient and peaceful.
Beautiful outdoors with beautiful long pond, lovely grounds, incredibly comfortable beds, and nice old looking art. An incredibly pleasant place to be. Also, beautiful back porch!
Great place to stay for climbing at the “Gunks” and visiting the Hudson river valley. Easy communication with host. Highly recommend
Our stay at Ray's was absolutely perfect for an extended Labor Day weekend away from the city. We were three adults and one baby and the space couldn't have been better for our needs and wants! We only left the extensive property for one half day to explore the surrounding area which is very easy to do (minutes from Mohonk, New Paltz, Minnewaska etc etc etc). Otherwise, we lounged about among the trees, identified plants, swam in the pool, and played on the porches. The apartment had everything we needed to be comfortable and Ray is a warm and accommodating host. None of us wanted to leave and we will certainly be back for future stays in this special place!
We loved our stay on Ray's farm. A great place for your family to unwind and relax in nature. A clean home with beautiful surroundings, a great host and close proximity to all. Can't ask for more than that. We plan to return to see the fall foliage. Thanks for a great stay Ray!
My kids and I loved staying here. The farmhouse is cozy, the property is huge and very private, we enjoyed using the grill and fire pit, and stargazing from the porch at night. It was a great location for all the outings we had planned around the Hudson valley. Ray was a wonderful host and very responsive. We definitely hope to return again!
This house was cozy, clean and well appointed. We loved the porch with a big area outside for the girls to run around in. Wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy it and definitely thinking of going back. The host was also very welcoming, friendly and responsive. The whole experience was a pleasure!
