This property sleeps 18 comfortably (2 per king/queen bed, 6 children’s bunks, 1 full-size sleeper sofa in loft area). Our published pricing is based on an occupancy of up to 16. Day guests will be billed at $36.50/guest/day, if not pre-approved in writing. Day guests are any guests beyond those paying to spend the night. Summer bookings (June, July and August) require a 5-night stay with a check-in on Thursday or Friday. In late spring/early summer, we reduce the summer nightly minimum to 4 nights for the remaining open summer dates (reflected in our pricing schedule at that time).
Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's bookings require a 5-night minimum and Christmas and New Year's are two separate reservation blocks. Christmas dates can be reserved between December 20th and 27th, New Year's reservations can be reserved between December 28th and January 5th.
If you are a traveling sports team, please note that we require a 1:1 ratio of adults to kids (siblings and players). More adults are okay. If you have a special situation, please feel free to inquire.
This home is located in an area that can get heavy snow and although we are vigilant with having the driveway plowed in the wintertime, we highly recommend 4-wheel drive vehicles. The roads are easy to navigate in the summertime, no special vehicle needed.
Smoking outside only and because we have a family member who has severe dog allergies, we have a firm no pets rule. Violation of these policies will result in a full forfeiture of deposit.

We enjoyed our stay and
We traveled from California to visit long time family friends for early Christmas celebration. 16 of us traveled and this home was perfect for us. Layout was such a good fit for 2 different families- each with 3 generations. We had snow one day and sledded down the driveway! Property is beautiful, quiet and supplied with everything you need and plenty of it. From blankets to toilet paper to kitchen supplies. Easy check in and great communication with the property manager. You have full access to the 3 car garage which was super convenient is in the cold weather. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We would love to book again!!
Well kept, lovely, and large! It fit our large group of adults perfectly.
Perfect house for 12 women from out of town to celebrate Halloween. The house was perfect for all our needs. We loved the outdoor area and enjoyed watching it snow from indoors. This property is perfect for any large group of people. Everything is spread out really well.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Had a large family group (15) that ranged from small kids to grand parents. Everyone was comfortable. The house was beautiful with enough space for everyone to find a nice nook. To top it off, the view of the Rockies from the back windows was tremendous.Very nice!
13 family members got together from all 4 corners of the US. Had a great time
We had a great stay at this property - perfect for our family reunion. The property manager was very helpful and communicative. Not only did the property have room for all of us, but we really appreciated how at home we felt. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes / glasses / utensils (often we find that properties like this have very limited dishes / glasses and we are constantly doing dishes - not the case here) and there was an abundance of appliances / pots & pans so we were able to cook and settle right in. Felt at home. The property is also set up well so different groups could settle in different areas - no one was stepping on toes. Perfect for our entire family.
This was the nicest, cleanest, most spacious home we have ever stayed in... The host anticipated EVERY possible need and made our stay there flawless. It became a game... I wonder if they have a blender? An ironing board? Tide Pods? A cooler? Wedding Present Wrapping paper??? Yes, yes they do. The view from every room was perfection. the signage around the house was so very helpful. We would definitely rent again. Cait Womack
My family and I recently stayed at the Retreat House for a family wedding. It was the perfect size (12 adults and 1 child) and location for us. The wedding was in Castle Rock and a lot of festivities in Centennial - we were about 25-28 minutes from both areas). There was plenty of space for everyone to come together or find a quite spot of their own. We loved the tranquil scenery, the ability to be close to all the things, yet still feel like it was an escape. We had everything we needed in the house. Love that they start you out with a few necessities (dishwasher tabs, coffee pods, etc.) Working with Cristine was wonderful. She was quick to answer any and all questions. We highly recommend staying here!
There were 16 family members. Ages 4 months to 60! Loves everything about it. Very spacious. Very homey. Loved it.
The house we stayed at was extremely clean and had tons of rooms and bathrooms for a great price. The host was also very communicative which made things very easy. Thanks for having us!
We stayed here for my son's wedding. Great location, very clean, excellent communication with the property manager and the mule deer were o fun to watch out back!! Loved this rental!!!
The house is big! It is an old style house that has everything you need and more for a big family gathering. I wish we stayed there longer. Communication with the property managers was easy and quick. The only thing guests have to consider is that the location is not central - you need to drive about 10-15 mins to the closet grocery, pharmacy, etc. It is a beautiful house surrounded by nature. Highly recommend it.
Loved this house. It was wonderful to have our family stay here for our daughters wedding! Well stocked kitchen and house. Had everything we needed (except more time to just relax and enjoy).
This was a great rental. Very clean and beautiful views. The only downside is that the 6 bunk beds had very thin foam mattresses (not memory foam and not regular mattresses). They were too uncomfortable for anyone to sleep in. The other rooms were great!
The host was fantastic, super helpful, very responsive. The house was exactly what we were looking for. Very peaceful and secluded. Saw many deer and other wildlife. There was plenty of land and space between other neighbors. Highly recommend this great Colorado retreat house!
Beautiful scenery. It was so relaxing sitting outside looking at the sunset, mountains, deer, trees.
Once again this home was a wonderful experience! This is our second time out to this property for family vacation. The home is very spacious. It is very comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains from the back porch. Both Spring Break experience and Summer experience were great, our family had an awesome time together!
We loved our stay…we were here for softball tourney and found this house that would fit multiple families. The space in the house was perfect…plenty of room in the basement for kids to hangout and plenty of room outside for everyone to hang out and play games. The house offered several games which was welcomed plus we brought som me of our own. We cooked pretty much everyday and there was the perfect amount of cooking pots and pans and bowls! We saw deer daily on the property which was awesome to see. We will definitely try to book this house every year going forward for the next 3 summers!
We loved this spacious home in the country setting. It accommodates two family units easily.
We stay at the property over Easter weekend and it was truly amazing with more than enough room with 3 finished levels. Our group of 14 loved the outside deck and views and the kiddos loved hanging out in the basement during the dark hours. I highly recommend this place for large groups!
