Second time staying at this property! Everything was terrific!
We had a wonderful stay! The house is gorgeous! The old floors and woodwork are beautiful! The house was very clean. The host was very easy to work with and responsive to all my questions! Would recommend staying here 10/10!
Great spot for our family on our trip back to the Cooperstown area to see old friends and go to horse camp. Conveniently located between Cooperstown and Oneonta. Beautifully restored old home with all of the modern convenience. Highly recommend.
I don't normally leave reviews but this place deserves one! The house is so beautifully restored. Sallie was a great host and very responsive! The house overlooks such beautiful scenery, its quiet and peaceful. Its only 15 minutes away from Cooperstown Dream Park (our son was playing there). The beds are comfy and the house was stocked with anything you might need to cook. There is a normal sized washer and dryer(huge plus!) and the AC in the rooms kept it very cool! I feel lucky to have had the chance to stay here. I would highly recommend this beauty!
Our stay was amazing from beginning to end! The house was absolutely fabulous and had everything we needed! We cooked, ate in town which wasn’t far at all, and even had to run to Walmart which also wasn’t too far! It’s a gem of a house with a history that makes it something super special! We couldn’t have had a better place to call our “home away from home” for the week! Thanks Sallie!!!
Everything was beautiful. The house is perfect. The host is perfect.
Thoughtfully restored farmhouse 20 minutes outside of Cooperstown. House perched on a hill above a lightly trafficked road with a panoramic view of rolling hills and farmland. Comfortable and well-stocked.
Quiet house about 20 minute drive to downtown Cooperstown, good for groups looking for a nice getaway
Lovely restoration of an 1800’s farmhouse. Very well stocked. Beautiful rural location but close to Cooperstown amenities and iconic landmarks. Comfortable and cozy. Everyone loved it.
Looking for a place to stay during a baseball tournament. Found this lovely 200 year old house, and it turned out to be just what we needed. The house is in a lovely quiet country setting with a fully equipped kitchen, cook and bake ware..you name it. We were able to prepare meals for four adults, something we would not have been able to do in a B&B or hotel (none available during the tournament). The price was extremely reasonable. Sallie is to be congratulated on the great job she did in restoring this house, and then sharing it with others. It is a 15 min drive to Dreams Park, restaurants are close by, and a few more minutes to Cooperstown village. Highly recommend staying here.
My friends and I had the absolute best time visiting Sallie’s place for a long weekend. The house alone is a treasure. The area is quiet with a lovely view. Sallie had everything that we needed, it felt like staying at a good friend’s house. We enjoyed the main living area and spent most of our time hanging out together in the comfy, welcoming space. I plan to return in the future, the house is amazing and we all felt right at home.
We stayed at this property during a Cooperstown Dreams Park baseball tournament. The house is conveniently located close to the park, Red Shed Brewing, and Cooperstown Brewing Co. We had a great stay! My only suggestion for Sallie is to include in the property description that a washer/dryer was available. We were pleasantly surprised, but it would have been nice to know before we arrived.
Enjoyed
Great location clean house
Lovely farmhouse that is convenient to Cooperstown
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this historic farmhouse. The house was remarkably comfortable with its updated kitchen and bathrooms. Be sure to check out how wide some of the floorboards are! We came to the area for our son's baseball activities at Cooperstown. Despite its rural setting, this house was very convenient to Cooperstown Dreams Park.
The house was amazing, quiet, clean, and had all we needed to cook there and be comfortable. We will be back for sure.
Our stay in the beautiful modernized farmhouse was just wonderful. We enjoyed the quaint setting of the inside of the house and the surrounding area. Cooperstown is only about 10-12 miles away and the town has a sweet warmth about it.. We recommend this for anyone who is looking for a get away from it all and enjoys the beauty of nature. Thank you again Sallie for the comfort of your special place. C&D
