Owner's Experience: It is hard to put to words the shared joys and restorative energy that our Riverhouse has provided us over the past 20 years. Our children were 4 and 6 when we acquired the house, and while a “2nd home” on paper, our experiences and memories there are just as vivid and adored. After long days in the River, the nights were frequently spent directly above it, on the spacious patio and deck, with firepits, marshmallow roasts, and s’mores for everyone to enjoy. The 5-minute drive to the Shenandoah River Estates community over “the cattle-road” (Mary’s Shady Lane) provides the perfect transition from hustle & bustle to the state of bliss and relaxation that the River offers.
