The entire roof was rebuilt to install steel valley channels, 50-year architectural shingles, new gutters with leaf protectors, and new soffits. The old wood-burning fireplace chimney was fully rebuilt and sided with fieldstone. The attending pictures speak for themselves, but it is what you don't see that adds long-lasting value: The entire house has been rewired with new outlets and switches installed; over half the outlets have ground-fault circuit interrupters for safety and many of the light switches include a dimmer. The livingroom and all bedrooms have a multiple speed, lighted fan. A 22kw Generac generator was added in 2024. The plumbing throughout the house is new and features two highly efficient manifold plumbing units that save on water use and energy costs. Additional savings are provided by a commercial grade, gas, tankless hot water unit.
