Spring is located within the jurisdiction of Houston in the Harris County portion of the Houston – The Woodlands – Sugar Land Metro area. According to the most recent United States Census report, the population here in Spring, Texas was somewhere around 55,000. Spring is just under 24 square miles in size. The climate here is humid subtropical. The summers tend to be very long and hot whereas the winters tend to be short but cold.
