Popular Past Times
Once you’re done at the theatre or art gallery you’re going to be hungry. When you need to stop for a bite to eat you can head over to Conroe’s Incredible Pizza Company. Here you will not only find an all you can eat buffet but a full blown indoor amusement park. You can do everything here from laser tag to go-karting and even mini golfing. This is the perfect place to take your kids on a Friday night for some family fun. If indoor amusements parks aren’t your thing then you can take a trip to Southern Star Brewing Company. Every Friday night they have live music and a beer release party. They are also dog friendly and BYOF which stands for “bring your own food.” They invite you to bring your own food or have it delivered. This is a somewhat new concept but it seems to work well for them. There is also the Copperhead Brewery a few miles away where you can sample specialty brews.

Local Parks
There are several local parks for you to visit here in Conroe. The W.G. Jones State Forest is one of them. There are plenty of trails to hike on as well as areas for you to have a picnic with loved ones. W.G Jones State Forest is visited by more than 80,000 people yearly. It is also the nations largest working urban forest. If you’re an adventure seeker you can head over to Lake Conroe where you can jet ski on the lake with friends and utilize one of the parks barbecue pits to make dinner for your family and friends. During the summer months you can take a trip over to Moorhead’s Blueberry Farm where you can pick as many blueberries as your heart desires.
