It wasn’t until 1997 that this museum opened and started drawing in large crowds. Bob Cassilly remained in his position as artistic director until he passed away in 2011. There is also a fifth floor to this museum that consists of apartments. These apartments are known as the “Lofts at City Museum” and range in since from 1,300 to almost 3,000 square feet.
