Largo is a midsize city in Pinellas County, Florida, in the metropolitan Tampa Bay – St. Petersburg area. Largo is centrally located in the county with Tampa Bay and Clearwater to the north and the Intercostal Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico to the west. The adventurous can take a 5-mile kayak/canoe route which begins at the park and ends at Park Boulevard.

 

The hub of Largo’s arts and culture scene is the magnificent Largo Cultural Centre which is home spectacular performances in music, dance and theater. Owned and operated by the City of Largo, the LCC offers a year-round schedule, which includes over 150 performances, consisting of a diverse mix of artists. The Performing Arts Center is home to the resident theatre company Eight O'Clock Theatre which performs the latest Broadway and off-Broadway productions. Eight O’Clock Theatre was voted "Best of the Bay" by Tampa Bay Magazine and the Weekly Planet.
