This amazing community is popular for its untainted spring water, which is clean enough that it is bottled and sold by Nestle as Zephyrhills bottled water. The facilities on ground in the city are increasingly drawing in more and more businesses to the area. Two of the Zephyrhills top employers are Florida Hospital Zephyrhills and Florida Medical Clinic.

In addition to the Zephyrhills Public Library established in 1912, a new library has also been opened just north of the old reading facility. Library personnel also see to the running the Zephyrhills Depot Museum, which commemorates a depot built along the Atlantic Coast Line in 1927.
