An important part of what makes Wellington an idyllic hometown is its abundant parks and public amenities. The city estimates that approximately 6,000 people visit their facilities and participate in various programs every weekend. The Wellington Amphitheater is a 3,200 square foot facility that includes a top-tier saudio/visual system for community events such as movie nights, music perfromances, plays, and school functions.
As the Equestrian Capital of the World it should come as no surprise that Wellington hosts the annual The Winter Equestrian Festival. The WEF is the largest and longest running equestrian festival running for 12 weeks between January and April each year.
