ACORN SHORES LAKE HOUSEbrbr**Weeknight check-ins Sunday-Tuesday on sale now!**brbrCome hit the trails this winter and enjoy access to over 300 miles of groomed trails in Sawyer County, the heart of Wisconsin's Northwoods. Direct trail access is just 4 minutes away at Hayward Power Sports, and Black Iron Grill is a favorite for a nice trailside meal. 2 King ensuites and 3 bathrooms ensure no one has to wait long for a shower in the morning, and our new high-efficiency fireplace will warm your toes after a day outdoors. Spend your evenings relaxing in the hot tub while enjoying views of the pristine frozen lake. brbrThe lake house features a newly renovated, fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, toaster, panini press, sharp knives, and Instapot/slow cooker for easy meals, a 3 season porch with views of the lake and a telescope for stargazing, a full coffee bar, and a (shared) charcoal smoker/grill combo. brbr*The bathrooms on the first floor have been newly renovated. The basement bathroom of the lake house has not been renovated, but is functional and a full bathroom. brbrATV/UTV/SNOWMOBILERS: As per Round Lake township rules, no ATV/UTV/snowmobiles are allowed on town roads. However, trail access is a quick 4 minutes away by car via the CAMBA Mountain Bike Trailhead (formerly Gravel Pit Road Trailhead by Hayward Power Sports) and leads to over 300 miles of trails to explore. There is room for parking up to 2 trailers at the property, and maneuvering can be done with the use of our round-about. brbrRUNNERS/MOUNTAIN BIKERS:brbrHead out the door, down the peaceful lake road, and explore the nearby trails via the Gravel Pit Road trailhead/CAMBA MTN BIKE trail (.5 miles away) which leads to over 300 miles of mountain bike, ATV, and running trails. brbrFISHING INFO:brbrThe navigable channel at the end of McClain Lake takes you to Upper Twin Lake, which is classified as class A musky waters, and is abundant with Musky, Perch, and Bluegill. Or fish right from our new dock for bass and panfish! brbrSWIMMING INFO: brbrWhile McClain is a great lake for fishing, it's mucky bottom isn't always ideal to those wishing to swim. Because of this, we provide a lily pad for our guests to attach to the end of the dock to enjoy swimming off of/on. Swimming is also great off a pontoon or from an island the next lake over. brbrBOATING INFO:brbrThe nearest public boat landing is 4 minutes away by car. You are more than welcome to bring your own boat, but please keep in mind that McClain is a no wake lake. For full rec fun, the next lake over (Upper Twin) allows wakes between 11am-5pm every day and is accessible through the navigable channel at the top of McClain. Black Iron Grill is accessible via the lake for a delicious meal right from the boat! For pontoon rentals, we recommend Hayward Power Sports which is 4 minutes away. After your booking, we will email you a discount code for 10% off the rental. brbrPARKING/DRIVEWAY: In the summer months, we have parking for 6+ cars. In the winter, we have room for 5. Please note that our driveway is quite steep and difficult to navigate in winter months, we HIGHLY recommend 4WD. Fortunately our property shares a round-a-bout with the next door neighbor and guests are able to use the neighbor's drive as it is a bit easier to navigate.brbr*Please note that this listing is for the Lake House ONLY and is part of the Acorn Shores resort, with some amenities being shared.
