Blue House on the Hill
Private Vacation Home
$150 / Nightly
Middleburg, Pennsylvania, United States
You will not want to miss this unique spot surrounded by woods and a beautiful view of the mountains, enjoyable from both the outside deck or inside the 25-foot Great Room. This special house was created in 2005 by a man who relocated here from Long Island, NY. It is far from your typical farm house in Snyder County, but with all the same great views and privacy.brbrYou enter up steps to the private entrance into the game room, then you can take a few steps up to the stunning Great Room where you find a beautiful double staircase to the top floor. The Blue House on the Hill, surrounded by 69 acres of farmland, is calling your name for your next trip away from home, whether you are in the area to visit your college student, or just want a getaway to a peaceful location for a few days.brbrYou will have access to the top two spacious floors of the house (owner lives on the first floor), which includes a full kitchen, game room, Great Room, one large bedroom, one small bedroom, a laundry area, and 2.5 bathrooms. The house can sleep up to 12, two to a bed, one on the couch, and five memory foam 5 inch floor mattresses. You also have access to the walking trails in the woods and the grass area outside the house for games (we have some available) or relaxing.brbrEnjoy a meal on one of the two decks (grill available), look for some wildlife such as deer or turkeys, adventure on the walking trails in the surrounding woods, play a game of pool with your family, admire the beautiful woodwork throughout the house, and relish a relaxing night in the jacuzzi.brbrThe house is 8 miles from Susquehanna University, 16 miles from Bucknell University, and 56 miles from Penn State University. There are several small towns nearby such as Middleburg, Mifflinburg, and Selinsgrove. On the "strip" near Selinsgrove there are many restaurants and places to shop. There is a really nice park in Selinsgrove called Kids Grove. The house is 29 miles from Knoebels Grove in Elysburg.
