What makes our cabin different? brLOCATION: While private, we are just five miles of paved road to Cove Creek which goes right up the Blue Ridge National Park and Cataloochee National Park with all of it's trails, views and ELK! Or, head on Cove Creek the other way to HWY 40 or 276 and play in Maggie Valley, the Cataloochee Ski Resort, head to downtown Waynesville or pick an easy day trip to Asheville or Tennessee. Downtown Waynesville has golf, boutiques, breweries, and restaurants. Maggie Valley is just down the road and Cherokee is an easy ride. The cabin is rustic but updated. Charming and comfortable inside, and outside offers screened dining and BBQ, outdoor seating, wood fireplace, hot tub, and fire pit.brbrKitchen: brModern in slate stone and hardwood floors you'll find stainless steel appliances, a large refrigerator, dishwasher, and a full oven and microwave. You'll find a single-cup Keurig with starter pods as well as a traditional drip coffee maker. Large coffee cups for your steamy breakfast coffee on the porch. Cooking amenities for both inside and your BBQ out. Plenty of glassware and plates. Warm view to the outside areas, exclusively for your use.brbrMulti item Charging stations for phone, tablets...both downstairs and upstairs.brbrLiving Room: Beautifully furnished in wood touches and rustic mountain decor. Stone gas fireplace with easy remote. Armoire holds your games and hundreds of DVDs to pop into the DVD player. Plenty of electrical outlets. brbrMaster: Queen bed with upgraded linens and comfortable pillows. Open closet and dresser, internet charger, and fireplace screen for romance that gives off heat optionally. Attached full bath with towels and amenities included and waiting for you. Towels and amenities included and waiting for you. brbrLoft bedroom: Queen bed with upgraded and rustic linens in a cozy loft with a window view. Dresser and luggage rack, window unit AC. Please see a picture of the stairs, they are common in cabins but can be steep for the elderly or children. Robes and slippers await you in the morning (for parties of 3 or more) brbrInternet: Strong and sufficient for cell phone use, email, and laptop work. Not meant for large usage, gaming, and streaming. Using your hotspot can provide what you're looking for. We are in the woods and we cannot predict service interruption due to weather. Take a break and enjoy the hot tub and stars!brbrWasher-Dryer: Adequate for small loads. We take linens and sheets offsite for heavy power cleaning. brbrPets: See notes on pets. You'll find a beautiful redwood dining table with more than enough room for your hamburgers and hotdogs with all the sides! brbrThe second cabana: Private hot tub under a cabana roof with open-air seating area adjacent (a $50 hot tub fee is included with the cleaning fee.) brbrBeyond this, you'll find a private fire pit and seating area. The picturesque thoroughfare branches out to more than 100 hiking trails, ranging from short footpaths to the Appalachian Trail, which stretches from Georgia to Maine. Anyone visiting Waynesville should also spend at least a day exploring the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The park covers cascading waterfalls, more than 1,500 types of wildflowers, and dozens of historical mills and barns. While you’re exploring, keep an eye out for elk, black-bear cubs, eastern box turtles, and white-tailed deer. brbrDowntown Waynesville is a charming, old-fashioned town, with a Main Street lined with pretty trees and brick sidewalks.
