The location is only a 15 minute drive to TIEC and a 10 minute drive to Lake Lure. The doors of the Great Room open to two large stone patios which capture stunning views of the hardwood forest and Blue Ridge Mountains.brKitchen and Dining Room with its open plan design lends itself brilliantly to entertaining or just spending time with the family around the breakfast table. The state-of-the-art kitchen features gorgeous granite counters and handsome stainless steel appliances. Laundry, large pantry, mudroom and garage are accessed from the kitchen.brAlso found on the First Floor is a large Guest Suite with a custom designed, reclaimed barnwood Cal-King bed, a luxurious bathroom with dual vanities, Jacuzzi tub and a spacious tile walk-in shower. A Game Room can also be found on the First Floor with a large TV, comfortable leather couch and armchair, pool table and a game table.brbrThe Second Floor consists of three bedroom suites each with their own bathroombrand a Gym Room for exercising.brbr- The Master Bedroom suite includes a king-sized bed, beautiful marble bathroom with claw-foot bathtub, a marble walk-in shower and two vanities; stunning mountain views are featured from this bedroom and also it has a private deck.br- The Second Bedroom, which also has lovely mountain views, has a queen bed and its own bathroom with bath/shower.br- The Third Bedroom features views of the forest, has a full sized bed and its own bathroom with bath/shower. br- Bunk room has its own staircase to a large room with two sets of bunk beds.(only for children, maximum weight limit 100 lbs)brbrAdditional one bedroom, one bath apartment sleeps 2 adults is available for extra $100 per night. Mention at time of booking to add the Lodge Apartment.brbrNC VACATION RENTAL STANDARDSbrFirst, be aware that the North Carolina Vacation Rental Act provides you with certain rights and protections. Second, we would like to make you aware of a few local regulations designed to promote a safe and enjoyable experience for all.brbrMAXIMUM OCCUPANCY LIMITS: The maximum occupancy limit for this home is 10 persons (8 adults and 4 children). You must provide us with the number of people and vehicles in your group. Violation of occupancy rules are grounds for immediate eviction with no refund, and fees will be charged to your credit card to cover any damages.brbrDESIGNATED PARKING: Vehicles must be parked only in designated areas on the vacation rental property. Parking in the roadway blocking the flow of traffic and parking on neighbor's property without permission are prohibited. Low clearance vehicles are not advised due to uneven driveways. There is parking for 3-4 vehicles at this property. No RV's trailers, campers, or oversized vehicles of any kind.brbrACCESS: You will receive directions and access information once we have received a signed rental agreement securing reservation (this agreement will be sent to you for electronic signature) you will also need to provide a copy of your government issued ID to our company with current mailing address and contact information along with vehicle registration of each vehicle that will be at the home during your stay. brbr?***Please be aware that you'll be in "bear country" with potential wildlife encounters. For everyone's safety, kindly refrain from leaving food outside, always keep the bear-proof trash bin locked, and ensure your little ones and furry friends are supervised outdoors. If you're not comfortable with our bear neighbors, sorry this might not be the best fit for you.brbrMINIMUM AGE: You must be at least 25 years of age to reserve a rental property and sign this lease and must also be a guest at the property during the entire term of the stay. You must present a valid government ID at time of check in. If you are not 25, you will NOT be allowed to check in and no refund will be provided.brbrNO HOUSE PARTIES: We do not accept reservations from sororities, fraternities, spring-break parties, bachelor / bachelorette / wedding parties, graduation parties, or ANY similar groups unless approved at time of reservation. Mr.Lake Lure Vacation Rentals works very closely with local law enforcement to patrol our rental homes, and report to us any occupancy violations. Any violation of this rule mandates you immediately vacate home without refund, regardless of the remaining duration of your reservation.brbrFIRE PROTECTION FOR YOUR SAFETY: Fire Extinguisher and Evacuation Plan -This home is equipped with working fire extinguishers and a posted evacuation plan. Removing any of these from their designated location is prohibited. Avoid storing items not to block hallways, doorways, steps, entrances and exits. Small Outdoor Fires - When an area burning ban is in effect, bonfires are prohibited. Contact your rental home's property manager for information on any burning bans. Outdoor fires are only permitted in a place and manner approved by the Fire Chief.brbr?NO SMOKING: Smoking, Vaping and Electronic cigarettes are prohibited in all our vacation rental homes. You will be assessed an additional cleaning fee if it is discovered you have been smoking and/or vaping in the home of $500. We ask that all smokers stay a minimum of 10 ft from any open window or door, do not stand near open doors or windows allowing smoke to enter the home while smoking on property. Please make sure butts and ashes are not left behind. Discard the butts and ashes in the outside garbage. Do not throw butts on the ground (including the fire pit) or bring them into the home. If there is any tobacco smell in the home after your departure, there will be a minimum $500 charge. Oil lamps and incense are not permitted due to the long-lasting odor. If these policies are violated, there will be a charge for excessive cleaning.brbrSECURITY CAMERA LOCATIONS: Please be advised our homes have forward facing entry area security cameras. We monitor for non-reported pets, over occupancy and number of vehicles.brbrPETS/ANIMALS: PETS/ANIMALS are NOT ALLOWED in this home. If you are found to be in violation of this rule you will be required to vacate the property and forfeit the remainder of your stay. You will also be assessed a fine of $500 for the violation. No refunds will be given! Service animals must be registered with the office prior to arrival.brbrRENTAL AGREEMENT AND TOTAL BALANCE: You will be required to sign a vacation rental agreement before your reservation is secured. Failure to sign rental agreement with-in 72 hours of booking, will result in cancellation of reservation and forfeiture of deposit. Any monies received by Mr Lake Lure Vacation Rentals for occupancy of vacation property indicated the acceptance of the terms of our vacation rental agreement in full. Your total amount listed on the Mr Lake Lure® Vacation Rental Agreement may be different from the amount paid to the 3rd party site you book through. All third-party sites charge differing amounts as service fees to guests for using their services. We have no control over those fees and do not collect them.brbrPlease read your vacation rental agreement carefully before you begin your vacation. All policies are strictly enforced. It is the responsibility of all guests and members of their party to be familiar with all policies pertaining to rental.brbrALL PROPERTIES OFFER AN INITIAL SUPPLY OF THE FOLLOWING AMENITIES:brIncluding, but not limited to: bed linens and bath towels (2 bath towels and 2 washcloths per Guest, 2 hand towels per bathroom sink), dishwasher detergent (2 loads) and dishwashing soap, new sponge, laundry detergent (2 loads), hand soap, (1 set per bathroom sink, including hotel size: 1 bar of soap, 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner and 1 lotion), paper towels (1 roll), toilet paper (2 rolls per bathroom), and garbage bags (2 kitchen bags, plus 2 black bags). If you don't feel this will be adequate for your stay, you will want to stop and pick up more on your way. All properties provide fully equipped kitchens or kitchenettes, including coffee makers as well as some cooking utensils. Locked pantries and closets are reserved for the use of the Property Owner and are not accessible to Guest. Rearranging furniture or removing any items from the Property is prohibited.brbrITEMS YOU WILL/MAY WANT TO BRING FOR YOUR STAY:brExtra folding chairs, beach towels, shampoos/ body soaps, hair dryers, basic cooking condiments, tin foil, plastic wrap, food storage containers, coffee, board games, fishing poles & tackle, floats, life preservers for toddlers/infants, golf clubs.brbrOur homes are protected by professional pest control, and we maintain additional services to help protect against mosquitos and Carpenter bees. That said, it is impossible for us to guarantee you won't see bugs. Depending on the time of year, it is likley you would see some bugs in any cabin in this region; this is an issue that impacts all cabins universally. If you do see bugs, please let us know so that we can schedule additional service. Also, please know that this is not a reflection of our commitment to quality, but rather a reality of renting a cabin in the area.brbr*** Lake Lure will be undergoing a drawdown starting January 1st, through the first quarter (March 31st). The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet has been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. No personal watercraft will be allowed on the lake during this time. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season.
