Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, New Years...with the two kitchens & every type of pan, dish, gadget you can imagine. sharing with your family or group of friends is magical there. brbrThe forest is our back yard, cross country ski, snow shoe, or hike by walking out the back door.10 minutes to best entry to Heavenly ski slopes, 5 miles away from Stateline casinos. brbrOur home is 3,500 sq feet with 12' ceilings, five bedrooms, 3 baths. one king bed, 3 queen beds, 2 twin beds accommodating a total 10 people. brbrOur beautifully remodeled home offers the perfect combination of privacy and convenience! Situated on a large heavily wooded lot and back to the National Forest The house provides a sense of privacy and seclusion while still being close to all that Lake Tahoe has to offer. Our home is especially perfect for a multi-generational family gathering...with 5 bedrm 3 baths and a layout that lets kids play while adults have quiet time in a different area of the home...or everyone gets together at the table that easily seats 10 for wonderful family games and meals. If anyone has difficulties with stairs... you'll delighted with the nearly level entry into the house allows for easy access into the home. With a level driveway and only 5 steps to the entry through the garage. brbrJust a few steps from the back deck you will find miles of hiking, biking and snowmobile trails with spectacular, panoramic views of both the mountains and our beautiful Lake Tahoe. 3 miles to Stagecoach and Boulder lifts (Heavenly Ski Resort), the Tahoe Rim Trail, casinos, night clubs, concerts, restaurants, shopping, and beaches of Lake Tahoe. Take a short drive over the hill to the Carson Valley, and you will discover the historic town of Genoa with quaint shops, restaurants and golf courses. brbr The main level of the home is the star of the show with its beautiful open living room, with 17 large windows viewing the forest, gas fireplace, access to the large back deck, hot tub and the forest beyond. Also located on this level are a spacious, fully equipped kitchen, large dining area, a cozy sitting nook, 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and laundry room. The master bedroom which is located on this level has a private bren-suite bathroom, a King bed and 42" television and direct access to the back deck.brbrDownstairs are 2 additional bedrooms, the 3rd full bath, a home theater, the 2nd kitchen, and 2nd laundry room. 2nd living room and home theater area is outfitted with a 70" HD-TV with DVD and THX surround sound, a ping pong table & peloton bike.brbrThis unique home offers a serene and relaxing environment from which to explore all that Lake Tahoe has to offer. brbr Our "Tahome" is our pride and joy home and we'd love to share it with you, but please note PLEASE NOTE: NO NOISE discernable to neighbors after 10pm and 19 people maximum. For each person less than 30 yrs old, there must be two people 40yrs old. (Some exceptions). Parking for 3 cars (one in the garage, two in the driveway). In the winter you will need four wheel drive vehicles. Bob was a professor at the University of Michigan, then in 2000 an international education consultant helping countries develop schools that prepared their students for a high tech world. Shari was a commercial realtor for 1/2 of her 35 yrs in real estate, and a residential realtor for the 2nd half of her career.
