Grand Marais, Minnesota, United States
Welcome to “The Cabins on Pike Lake" in Grand Marais. Voted the Best Midwestern Small Town by USA Today, and the Coolest Small Town by Budget Travel Magazine, Grand Marais has a lot to offer. We are delighted to host you in our two luxurious and comfortable cabins on beautiful Pike Lake. Thank you for considering us for your next vacation get-away. brbrPlease know that our caretaking staff is following the current best practices for providing a safe, healthy, and clean environment on our property. brbrThe CabinsbrWhen you stay with us, you have 2 options: brFor groups of 4 or less, the Main Cabin is perfect. For more space and privacy, you can also rent guest cabin for an additional $125/night.brFor groups of 5-7 you must rent both the main cabin AND the guest cabin. We cannot accommodate groups of more than 7.brbrPlease note that the charge for the guest cabin will not automatically appear on the pricing. The owner will have to manually enter the charge after the guest requests the pricing.brbrThese traditional cabins have been meticulously updated for modern living without compromising their North Shore Arrowhead heritage. They sit just across the yard from each other yet still have ample space between them to offer privacy. The Main Cabin has two bedrooms and the Guest Cabin is a studio. Each has a contemporary kitchen and bath, a gas fireplace, and a lake-facing deck. We offer a wonderful shared space for families and multi-family vacations. We do not rent the cabins separately, so when you rent with us, the property is exclusively yours.brbrA third building, a renovated boathouse, serves as a screened porch, and is located a few feet from the shoreline. It is a wonderful place for solitude and a nice place to play games on a rainy day. Want to sit out under the stars by a fire and make S’mores? We have a beautiful spot, a slate fire pit also just a few feet from the lake. brbrCreate lasting memories. Bring your family and friends to “The Cabins” to enjoy Pike Lake’s beauty and serenity. Swim off the dock and wade on the pebble beach in the crystal-clear shallow water – perfect for kids (be sure to bring water shoes)! Take a canoe, we have three - two usual sized and a single-person fishing canoe -- or one of our two kayaks for a tour of the amazing and secluded Pike Lake. Don’t forget your fishing poles!brbrPlease note that we do not allow pets.brbrDuring the summer months we prefer week-long stays and we welcome weekend and midweek bookings through the rest of the year.brbrThe Surrounding AreabrThere are so many things to see and do, all year round, close by. Visit Grand Marais, the “Coolest Small Town in America” with it’s beautiful Lake Superior harbor, art galleries, and many restaurants – have breakfast at the Blue Water Café or pizza at Sven and Ole’s.
