This property is an all-brick Cape Cod home on the loveliest street of an historic Baltimore neighborhood. br The home has 3 bedrooms and a full bath on the upper floor; the main level boasts a living room, dining room, updated kitchen, and large family room addition with a half bath; and the home has a finished, carpeted basement that’s cozy and bright and has a laundry room with full size washer and dryer. This is a non-smoking property.br The sleeping arrangements are: brIn the upstairs bedrooms: a king bed, a twin bed, and two twins.br A twin pull-out in the main level family roombr A twin pull-out in the basementbr(a Pack n Play (portable crib) is also available for use for a small child) br The home has a private, fenced backyard for you to enjoy and, if you come in late April/early May, you will be treated to the spectacular display of our large azaleas that grace one entire side of the yard.br There is a large, beautiful park just a 5 minute walk from the house that has a large playground, a disc golf course, and a stream with walking trails. For you history buffs, the neighborhood was designed by landscape architect Frederick Law Olmstead who was a pioneer in suburban development and also the designer (in partnership with Calvert Vaux) of Central Park in New York City. Sudbrook Park is known as one of the very first 'suburbs' in the nation. There are many beautiful, historic homes to enjoy if you like to walk or run for exercise.br The house is just 20 minutes by car from downtown Baltimore, or, 1 mile from a metro station. It's 15 minutes from the train station where you could take a train to D.C., Philadelphia, or even New York, for the day. It's centrally located for lots of mid-East-coast tourism. With a car, it's less than 90 minutes from historic civil war sites like Antietam and Gettysburg, the bustling metros of Baltimore, D.C., and Philadelphia, and the lovely (and historic) state capitol town of Annapolis.br Lots of adventures to be had during the day, and a quiet place to come home to at night.
