A shared kitchen with Kathleen is optional as she has her separate quarters. She encourages natural healthy foods with wonderful vegan meals or other. There are some young gardens to dig into. brThe Sanctuary is in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. It is ideal for nature lovers, walkers and kayaking.     The Brewhouse Cottage is situated on the same grounds as Bayou Teche Brewery and Cajun Saucer Pizza Kitchen in Arnaudville La. Just cross over the lane to enjoy tasty brews, wine and coctails as well as fantastic pizza. Walk down the lane and enjoy the beauty of the Bayou Teche.br The Brewhouse cottage's history is an interesting one. It is approximately 400 sq foot. 100 floated down the Bayou Teche bringing goods to the local people. The solid walled structure makes it a very quiet and peaceful stay. The original wood floors give the cottage that original feature to let you know the age of this beautiful little cottage. br The long front porch has 2 Adirondack chairs which will likely be where you will spend alot of your time. It is so pleasant listening to the music float over from bayou teche while enjoying a cold beverage.br Arts Coffee is the cottage facing Bushville Hwy. This was the original brewery and is where the coffee is roasted. There are times when you may be able to enjoy the aromas of the roasting while relaxing on the porch. Have a cup at Bayou Teche Brewery during your stay you will thank us!br Inside you have a beautiful modern kitchen. The kitchen has a 3/4 sized refrigerator which has 2 frozen glasses in the freezer! The dining area does have 2 antique chairs which we ask you to take care and consideration with.br Please refrain from FRYing foods inside the cottage. Odors are VERY difficult to get rid of from this small space for our next guests. There is a BQ pit on the porch for you to use.br In the sitting area you'll find 2 very comfortable glider rockers for relaxing and watching tv on the wall mounted smart TV. You will have the option of Dish Network, Netflix and Amazon. br Finally enjoy the large walk-in shower, then slip off to sleep in the cozy FULLSIZED bed!
