Aloha to your Hawai'ian vacation at our home in West Molokai. The Island is the perfect getaway for slowing down and enjoying the beauty of old Hawai'i. From the peaceful sound of tropical birds and crashing waves in the morning to the ocean and sunset view, you will have the best time on the Island in our condo. West Molokai offers pristine white-sand beaches, coral reefs, trails, local markets, and much more. brbrOur condo at the Kepuhi Beach Resort is the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The 750 sq-ft upper corner unit is ideal for individuals, couples, small families, or friends. The condo has 2 bedrooms: a king-size and queen-size bed in the upper loft and 1 bath. The bedrooms are spacious and comfy. The bathroom is well-appointed, with a shower/tub combination and plenty of towels and linens provided. The modern-style living area has vaulted ceilings, plenty of windows, ceiling fans, and a lofted section used as a second bedroom. The condo is also fully equipped with all the amenities you need to feel at home, including a full kitchen (refrigerator, cooking ware, oven, stove, microwave, and coffee maker), smart TV, and fast-speed WiFi (500Mbps).brbrWe take good care of our island condo and love to share it with all our guests. So please be respectful of our home while enjoying your stay.brbrThe unit's large windows and lanai have an amazing ocean view and sunsets. You could watch the whales spouting and playing between December and late March while relaxing on the porch. The condo also has plenty of natural light and perfect airflow, thanks to the trading winds of West Molokai. The balcony is ideal for enjoying a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine while taking in the breathtaking views.brbrSmoking of any kind is prohibited inside the unit and on the lanai. Also, pets are not allowed at the Kepuhi Beach Resort. Mahalo.brbrThe FacilitybrKepuhi Beach Resort is about twelve miles of oceanfront property located at West Molokai. Pristine beaches, vegetation, and the deserted Sheraton Molokai Hotel surround the property. The facility includes:br• An oceanfront swimming poolbr• BBQ area with picnic tables and lawnbr• Convenience shop with some groceries, snacks, and necessitiesbr• Coin-operated washing machine and drier (takes only Quarters)br• Hiking trails and strolling passesbr• Amazing sunsets and aloha vibesbrbrBeaches and the Surrounding AreabrUntouched and quiet beaches surround the Kepuhi Beach Resort (i.e., Kepuhi Beach, Pohaku Mauliuli Beach, P?p?haku Beach, and more). They are perfect for swimming and snorkeling during the summer and ideal for surfing in the winter.brbrWest Molokai is the arid side of the Island, but it gets lush green after the rain. The vast, arid, serene landscape is also perfect for morning and evening strolls, running, hiking, and biking. Plenty of colorful tropical birds, turkeys, and white-spotted Axis deer are hanging around the property and the open lands. Between December and March, you could frequently see humpback whales.brbrGetting to MolokaibrTraveling to Molokai requires a 25-minute flight on Mokulele airlines, a local air carrier. You can book it directly through Mokulele airlines or via Alaska Airlines. The short flights depart from Maui's Kahului Airport (OGG) or Maui's Kapalua Airport (JHM), or O?ahu's Honolulu International Airport Commuter Terminal 3 (HNL). You will arrive at Molokai Airport (MKK), located about 7 miles by vehicle from the center of the Island.brbrWhen you arrive in Molokai, the condo is about 20 miles west of the main grocery stores in Kaunakakai. So, we'd suggest you make a grocery run after picking up your rental car at the airport and heading to West Molokai.brbrCar Rental and ParkingbrAlamo is the Island's only official car rental company, located right outside the airport. Turo (an App) is another car rental option.brbrThere is plenty of free parking for one vehicle. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, right in front of the condo and across the resort. There is no parking on the streets.brbrGrocery Stores and RestaurantsbrThe two main grocery stores are in Kaunakakai, the main town in the center of the Island. In addition, there is another General Store in Maunaloa and a small convenience shop in the Kepuhi Beach Resort.
