Dip in and out of the river all day from its grand 500 sq. ft. seasonal dock.brbrThe deck and dock, skybox and courtside seat, let guests watch who and what floats down the sauntering summer river. In the fall, in addition to wine tasting, the house is great for binge watching football inside, and playing football and golf outside.brbrThe property's Redwood Trees, jarring in size and longevity, welcome and embrace the entrance and front of the house. The house's openness and brightness coupled with the property's privacy, size and natural setting create a tranquil environment. brbrCalifornia Dream is bordered by: Northwood Golf Course, The Bohemian Club, the Russian River, and between Monte Rio Beach and Johnson's Beach.brbrJenner Beach and Goat Rock Beach are 11 miles west, while Korbel Winery, Porter-Bass Winery and Armstrong Woods are 7 miles east.brbrOtherwise, just peacefully float throughout the house and onto the deck: make a gourmet meal in the gourmet kitchen, or grill and have cocktails on the deck. Riverfront luxury cabin, hot tub, private dock, redwoods, ping-pong, foosball

Monte Rio, California, United States

Wake to mist on the Russian River, coffee on the deck, redwoods overhead. This riverfront log cabin is built for the vacation you've been needing — slow mornings, long dinners, relaxing hot tub soaks, and a private dock with kayaks and paddleboards waiting at the water's edge.brbr10 mins to Guerneville, 15 minutes to wineries, 90 mins from San Francisco.brbrAll the coziness and natural feelings of a log cabin, yet spacious and modern where it matters. This is an elevated and luxurious stay awaiting you.brbrThe cabin sits right on the water, with a wraparound upper deck that becomes the heart of the stay — linen-cushioned lounge chairs angled toward the river, a long dining table for slow dinners under the redwoods, and the sound of the Russian River moving past below. Three towering redwoods grow on the property itself, and the canopy keeps things shaded and cool even in summer.brbrInside, the great room is pure log cabin that feels like a lodge: vaulted pine ceilings, hand-peeled beams, a floor-to-ceiling river-rock fireplace, and a deep leather sectional for relaxing and enjoying conversation. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for a real cooking weekend — electric range, dishwasher, full-size fridge, everything you’d need to prepare any meal — and it opens to a live-edge dining table that seats eight beneath a grand chandelier.brbrTwo bedrooms, each with a purple mattress king bed, black out curtains, and floor to ceiling mirrored closets.brbrThe third bonus room has three queen beds, two nestled in the loft area. Your group will naturally gather here for foosball and a large 65” inch TV with streaming capabilities.brbrOutside is a world all its own. A flagstone patio under the deck holds a year-round hot tub, a ping-pong table, Beyond it, a lawn of red Adirondack chairs circles a gas fire pit (year-round, fire-restriction friendly), with cornhole boards set up in the grass and a fleet of kayaks, paddleboards, and river tubes ready to launch from your private dock just down the path. The dock has a swim ladder. The river is yours. This part of the river is peaceful, calm, and hardly moves.brbrMornings are for coffee on the deck and a peaceful paddle on the pleasant river. Afternoons are for tubing, wine tasting, or walking into Monte Rio for a beer. Evenings end at the fire pit or in the hot tub, redwoods overhead, river below, without a care in the world.brbrOther items to note: brSECURITY CAMERAS:brThe exterior of the home is monitored by cameras - one in the driveway, two in the backyard area.brbrSTAIRS:brPlease be aware that this home sits on an elevated riverbed hill, and there are many stairs throughout the property, including:br- 4 stairs to access the entrance to the homebr- 6 stairs to access the loft roombr- A full flight of stairs to access the backyard/ hot tub/ firepit, etc.br- 2 full flights of narrow exterior stairs to reach the river and private dockbr- Ladder with 9 rungs to reach 2 queen beds in loft roombrbrCELL SERVICE:brYou can count on fast internet service at the home. Due to its rural and natural environment, cell service is extremely spotty in the home and neighborhood. We like to think of this as a great opportunity to disconnect!brbrNEIGHBORHOOD:brThe neighborhood is sleepy, quiet, and serene. The majority of the homes in the town are occupied by local long-term residents. There are a few local shops and restaurants, but most of the available options are in Guerneville which is a 10 minute drive away.brbrPARKING:brThere are two driveway spots available for parking. No more than 2 cars are allowed at the home (no exceptions.) No other parking is available.brbrRULES:brSonoma County enforces strict rules for vacation rentals and in order to maintain our permit, we strictly enforce these rules. Breaking any of the below rules is grounds for immediate removal from the property without a refund:br- Quiet hours from 10pm-8am dailybr- No outdoor amplified sound (playing music or noise on speakers) of any kind.br- Animals cannot be left alone outside. No excessive barking. Animals left at home without supervision must be kept in a contained crate at all times.
