Minutes from Historical Auburn, with easy 5 min access to I80 or Hwy 49. This charming home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood with lots of trees. Beautifully decorated featuring open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and comfortable furnishings and a well-appointed Kitchen. Enjoy shopping, wine tasting, golfing, local festivals, antiquing, skiing, hiking, biking, lake, and river trails. The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths and can sleep up to 8 in 4 pillowtop Queen beds.brThe driveway is a bit steep, but once you enter the front door you will be able to use the garage door opener to pull in to the garage to easily unload your things. brbrHalfway down the driveway is a second parking spot that is level and easy to get in and out of your car. On the street, there is plenty of parking on the house side of the street. But no parking is allowed on the other side. brbrThen there isn't much of a yard in the back, but there is a BBQ close to the kitchen. The best views are from the front porch, with 2 comfortable rocking chairs to sit and enjoy the rose garden or sip on a glass of wine while the sun goes down.brbrPlease be mindful of the neighbor's proximity. While it is very private in the back visually, they can hear your music and loud voices. One of the appeal of this location is the quiet neighbor. Help us keep it that way. brbrLoud abrasive music and loud foul language will not be tolerated. One complaint from the neighbors, and you will be asked to leave immediately. If you think this may be a problem for your group... DO NOT Request a booking.brI have 3 homes within 1 mile, so I am usually at one of them and can be over quickly if you need something. brbrI love meeting new people and sharing details about my charming town of Auburn. So I am open to sharing a glass of wine or cup of coffee with you. But I fully respect your privacy, especially with Covid. brbrSo I will leave the choice to socialize up to you.brYou will find that Auburn is a very friendly town rich with gold rush history! There are several historical museums, great places to shop in old town Auburn and Downtown Auburn. And if antique hunting is your thing, you've hit the Motherload! brbrThe American River Confluence (where the North and middle fork converge)brThere tons of trails from all levels and magical swimming holes to explore. Great for mountain bikes and hikers. brbr20 mins from my doorstep is my favorite lake, Lake Clementine! It's a small lake that is always a comfortable swimming temperature - much warmer than Rollins, Folsom, or Scott's flat. The ski boats are limited to 25. And parking is limited too. The drive to the lower lake is a very windy steep road that is extremely narrow. But it's worth the drive!!! It is breathtaking! Small fishing boats, kayaking & Paddleboarding make this a highlight for any nature lover! brAnd if you want to rent a canoe, kayak, or paddleboard you can easily stop and get one before you head into the canyon. brbrAnd the wine trails are the best! Auburn has numerous award-winning vineyards to escape to. And I guarantee you’ll be taking a bottle or two home with you. brbrHey, wine isn't your thing! Then visit some of our fantastic. BReweries! The local Beers can't be beaten. And if you like food truck cuisine... Crooked Lane Brewery Host a different food truck every night! brbrNow if you are a foodie.... you will have a plethora of places to try out. Everything from iconic fast food, Taco Tree and Burger & Cream, to Thai, Sushi, Bbq, Chinese, Mexican, Pizza, Pub food, Vegan & High-End Dinners.brbrBut maybe a good cup o’joe or juicing is what your into.... Do not fear Auburn has several coffee shops, bakeries and juice bars.brYou will have access to the entire home, including the laundry area and the garage. brThere will be some furniture and art pieces that I'm working on in the garage. Please do not disturb them... Look but don't touch them.brThe entire house is accessible to you... Including the garage.brAuburn is famous for its hilly terrain. So unless you are a skilled bike rider...
