Get the idea Here at Nature's Door, on Port Moody's beautiful north shore, your private luxury suite (570 sq ft) has it's own entrance and is finished and furnished to the highest standard. Enjoy large flat screen HDTVs in your living area (cable and Netflix) and your bedroom (cable), free wifi throughout, full kitchen including tea and coffee making facilities of course, breakfast bar, bathroom with double shower (no tub), plus laundry and ironing facilities. Your bedroom has over-height ceiling and features a quite heavenly queen size pillow-top master bed, nightstands and a double closet with full length mirror. As well, all linens and towels are premium quality. In the living area is a Lazyboy 'air-bed' sofa bed sleeping up to 2 persons. In addition, we provide complimentary parking for one vehicle on our drive during your stay.brbrHere you will find comfort, privacy, peace and the beauty of nature, 2 minutes walk from Old Orchard Park and beach and less than 5 minutes drive from the many restaurants and shops of Port Moody centre. In the area are many trails, parks, lakes, etc, and if you're lucky you may encounter some of the wonderful array of wildlife that we see here. Also note we are well placed for those visiting Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Burnaby, etc. brbrExploring further afield, we are 30 minutes (depending on time of day) from Downtown Vancouver, and about the same from Vancouver's north shore mountains, and Whistler is less than 2 hours drive along the stunning Sea-to-Sky highway.

BOAT SHUTTLE (Must read before booking). We provide a 15-minute boat shuttle to Cape Carraholly Retreat from the meeting point at Rocky Point in Port Moody, B.C, included in your stay. The check-in at 4:00 p.m. and check-out at 10:00 a.m. refers to the boat shuttle departure times. An alternative time (2 p.m.- 6 p.m. for check-ins and 8 a.m.- 12 p.m. for check-outs) costs $100- inquiry basis only. Enjoy a private hot tub & outdoor fire-pit, communal sauna & kayaks, &hiking trails!brbr*PLEASE READ ALL. More information will be sent to you in the booking confirmation message. Please note that this is a water-access only, remote property (for the adventure seekers!) The uniqueness of the property offers unique challenges and costs. Please respect that we have a time restrictive check-in and check-out process to make this project possible to exist.* brbrSEASONAL PACKAGES: brbr$50- Propane & bundle of fire-wood br$25- Sauna (communal) & kayaks br*Payments made on-site during check-in or check-out brbrBOAT SHUTTLE:brbrYou do not need to book your boat shuttle; you are automatically booked for a boat shuttle upon booking your reservation. The meeting point for the boat shuttle is at the Rocky Point boat launch. There are 2 docks; the boat normally arrives at the right dock if you are facing the water. Our Tritoon boat is white with a green canopy. We have a strict check-in of 4:00 p.m. and check-out time of 10:00 a.m. since we combine different groups onto the same boat shuttle and we must ensure that our boat shuttle services are as time and fuel efficient as possible. The check-in and check-out times refers to the boat departure from the meeting point. Our boat shuttle accommodates up to 11 guests at a time, so if we have too many groups with check-ins at the same time, we will contact you to coordinate an earlier or later check-in or check-out at no extra cost. Otherwise, alternative times for the boat shuttles (2:00-6:00 p.m. for check-ins & 8:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. for check-outs) are provided on an inquiry basis only (not guaranteed) and have an extra cost of $100 per boat shuttle. Please note that providing shuttles at alternative times is quite labor and fuel intensive so the fee is enforced as compensation. The uniqueness of the property offers unique challenges and costs.brbrARRIVE ON-TIME: brbrSince other groups will also be waiting for the same boat shuttle, please arrive on-time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the boat shuttle will leave without your group and you will have to wait until the next boat shuttle time slot. If another boat shuttle is not already scheduled, you will have to pay the extra $100 boat shuttle fee. brbrPARKING: brbrWe recommend that you drop off your guests and luggage at the Rocky Point boat launch before parking your vehicle. We provide parking at the Legion Club 119- located about a 10-minute walking distance from the boat launch. brbrON-SITE TRANSPORTATION: brbrOur team will transport guests & their luggage from the dock to each unit in our side-by-side ATV, unless your unit is located in front of the dock. brbrON-SITE CHECK-IN: brbrOur team on-site will help get you checked into your unit and provide a brief demonstration on the use of certain amenities, both within your unit and the property. Please ask any questions you may have during the check-in process. brbrCAPE CARRAHOLLY RETREAT: brbrCape Carraholly Retreat opened in 2022 and contains 4 spacious cabins and our newly contructed glamping sites, Yurt, and RV. We are located on a 75-acre oceanfront property near Port Moody, B.C. An extensive beach and inlet shoreline will satisfy your adventurous spirit and much wildlife can be observed during high and low tide. Discover hiking trails throughout the dense rainforest of the təmtəmíxʷtən/ Belcarra Regional Park where you will encounter beautiful hidden beaches, diverse flora and fauna, and trees older than 500 years. One of the more popular hiking trails that begins at the property includes “Admiralty Point Trail” (check “All Trails” app for more information). Step out the back door and enjoy quick access to an abundance of outdoor activities including kayaking, hiking, fishing, crabbing, and swimming. Our communal amenities in the property include: a sauna, kayaks, and an oceanfront beach shack with a fire-pit. brbrYOUR UNIT: brbrEnjoy a rugged experience at our newly constructed glamping tent with plenty of privacy and tranquility due to its location amongst the forest and seaside. The glamping tent is equipped with an electric heater and lots of blankets to ensure guests stay warm in the chillier season. Outside of the tent, enjoy a spacious outdoor living space with a fully equipped kitchenette featuring an electric stove-top, running tap water, a charcoal BBQ, and a dining table. Guests can also enjoy use of a hammock, fire-pit area, and hot tub surrounded by twinkling fairy lights and overhanging trees. Please note that you must come prepared with warm clothing and rain gear since our outdoor amenities have limited protection from the rain. Please also note that the washroom at this site consists of a portable toilet located inside a mini-tent.brbrDISCLAIMERS:brbrWEATHER: brbrPlease dress extra warmly and prepare yourself for unexpected weather conditions. We strongly advise that you bring rain gear since the boat shuttle boat provides limited rain protection. brbrINFANTS: brbrAlthough we are open to hosting infants, we do not provide the supplies necessary for the accommodation of infants (cribs, dishes, child gates, etc.). The units are also not set-up to ensure the safety of young children and may contain hazards. The safety and wellbeing of infants is ultimately the responsibility of their parents/ caregivers.brbrREMOTE PROPERTY:brbrYou must understand that this a remote property in the wilderness and thus requires attention to the risks of exposure to the elements or wildlife.brbrSWIMMING:brbrAll guests accessing the beaches may swim at their own risk.
