You will be impressed with this beautiful, well-kept ½ acre property that includes a children’s log playhouse on the property.brbrThe house has 2 huge decks overlooking a secluded and protected bay. The property is gently sloping to the lake shore for easy and safe access. There is excellent swimming off the private dock/swim platform or from the pebbly beach into the crystal clear water.brbrSheridan Lake fluctuates in temperature based on the weather. During the sunny and warm weather during June/July/August the lake will warm up to 73 degrees. This makes the swimming very comfortable. brbrThe fishing is best in May, June and September. From the dock and you can see fish swimming by in May, June and September. Several trout have been caught in the bay. Some fish are caught in July and August. There was a 17 lb rainbow caught by a 15 year old in August [2007]. The average trout is 3-4 lbs in size. Lake front with a dock - great fishing, outdoor trails, hunting & water sports!

Ice is gone! Kokanee are HUNGRY! brbrRustic log cabin on popular Deka Lake! Clean and cozy, this 4bdrm/2bath gem of a house has a huge front deck where you can sit in the evening and enjoy the water views. Have dinner on the deck in any weather under the gazebo, and behind the mosquito netting (in case of mosquitoes!) Sit by the firepit or sit on the dock and enjoy the pristine waters of Deka Lake.brBeds for 9, plus we do have a spare single mattress and a blowup queen mattress if you need it. One bedroom on main floor (no stairs), three more upstairs. brFireplace is propane - no lugging wood in when you get in late from hunting! The yard is large and mostly flat - perfect for bocce, horseshoes, or hanging out by the fire pit. Everything you need in the kitchen and linens/towels are supplied. BBQ on the deck as well!brThere is satellite TV, Loads of movies for the DVD player, and WIFI so you can get a little work done while you're there. brAsk about parking an RV as well! brA well-behaved pet is ok. We want to accommodate your pooch - please be respectful so we can continue to allow pets!brbrIn the summer, we have a 7day minimum-PLEASE BOOK SUNDAY TO SUNDAY. (it's all about the cleaning schedule) If you are wanting to book more than 7 days or if you cannot do Sunday, send me a message FIRST - sometimes we can accomodate! If you see a chunk of time available that isn't a full 7 days, contact me! If the cleaner is available, we can book it. Let's face it, we prefer 7days but we also don't want to turn you away :)brOff-season is a 3day minimum and can be any daybrbrNo restrictions on this lake means you can bring a pontoon boat, motor boat, or fishing boat. Water skiing and seadoos in the small part of the lake, while fishing is best at the back of the small lake or at Big Deka for the big lakers! It's a popular lake but never so busy where you feel crowded at all.brbrSummer: there are several kayaks and a paddle boat in the yard available for your use, but please bring your own lifejackets. The yard is great for outside games - there is a horseshoe pit and we have some outdoor games like bocce, Yardzee and badminton. brEnjoy the fire pit, there will be wood there for you, but make sure to check that there is no fire ban.brHave a boat We have a dock. There are many launches at the lake, there's a good one just past the house. Just let me know if you are bringing the boat so we can make sure to have a spot for you. Rainbow and Kokanee are stocked every spring. The Kokanee like pink lures in summer and we have had success with pink or green buzzbombs for Lake trout :)brbrFall: HUNTING SEASON!! Lone Butte has a gun range, and the hunting is going to be great this year! Deer, moose, grouse, bear - come on up and stock up your freezer! brbrWinter: ICE FISHING! Deka and Sulphurous Lake are popular with ice fishing enthusiasts. Plenty of Kokanee and Burbot! I'm told they like green lures and maggots in winter :) brThere are about a dozen pairs of Cross Country Skis that you can use! From a wee set that just straps onto regular boots for a smaller child to size 12mens! brBring your snow toys and try out the many trails or make your ownbrbrInside we have loads of board games and books, a dvd library, some puzzles, a cd player and a bunch of cds to entertain you :) brKitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dinnerware, glasses...anything you would need is here. And if its not, let me know so I can get it! The stove is propane and there is a dishwasher and microwave, coffee pot, kettle, toaster, blender - there's even a panini press! You will find everything you need in the kitchen!brbrBeds for 9 plus 1 more- there is a spare single mattress that can be put on floor. There is room on the floor in the bunk room and in Master. I do have ablowup Queen and spare single mattress if you needed another- please let me know if you will have more than 9 ppl so I can have linens ready.brbrParking for about 4/5 vehicles in winter, more in summer as you can park in the RV spot brbrRV Parking - if you needed more space/more people and you want to bring the RV - we can arrange that! There is a spot for the 30ft RV and electricity available. Sanidump is a couple miles away. The charge is $30/night for the RV and that would be payable separately. Contact me to arrange for RV. brMORE RV Parking: We have another property which can accomodate a larger RV as well. It is just on other side of lake, a 2min drive, if you need the extra space, let me know.brbr25 min to downtown 100 Mile House and only about 15min to Lone Butte. Lone Butte has a couple great coffee shops and restaurants plus LoneButte Sporting Goods where ALL your fishing and hunting needs will be met. If you forgot anything, Interlakes Store is 9min away and they have what ever you might need for food, gas, beer and they have fantastic Butter Chicken made fresh almost every day!br

Cozy Lakefront Cabin on Sheridan Lake

Updated heritage cabin, located right in quiet bay of Sheridan Lake, is the perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature and family. Watch the sunrise while sipping your morning coffee on the dock, and watch the ducks come by. This lovely cabin is located right on Sheridan lake which is well known for it's extraordinary fishing, with fish stocked into the lake each year. The Interlakes Trail Network is at your doorstep and is perfect dirt and mountain biking, ATV'ing, and hiking. brbrThe cabin is the original homestead of the area. It has that classic, rustic style but you wont have to rough it when you stay here because it has all the modern amenities you'll need to be comfortable. It features two- stories, with 3 bedrooms up and a cozy reading nook in the family room, that converts to a bed. The cabin can sleep 6 adults comfortably and accommodates children as well, with one twin bed in the master and a pull out twin couch as well as a twin mattress that can be used for extra sleeping space. One of the other upstairs bedrooms, also has an extra twin tundral if needed.brbrFull bathroom with shower and hot & cold running water. Laundry room, full electricity, as well as two wood stoves for warmth and ambience. brbrKitchen includes all appliances, as well as a dishwasher for easy clean up after meals. Pots, pans, utensils, plenty of dishes, coffeemaker, toaster, microwave, and propane BBQ. brbrWe have plenty of wood for 2 wood burning stoves and for use in the fire pit as well as wood burning fireplace outside on deck. In the summer months Govt of BC often restricts burning fires. Burning during a ban is prohibited and comes with stiff penalties. ( any one caught burning during a ban will be asked to leave the premises immediately ) , brbrBoat dock is available, with a nearby launch. Bring your boat and toys to this beautiful piece of heaven. brbrEXTRAS: brbrThere is a cleaning fee of $150.00 per stay payable directly to owner. brbr A pet fee of $75.00 ( for 1 dog) payable to owner.brbrRefundable damage deposit of $500.00 to be paid 1 week prior to stay. brbrTravel trailer onsite if extra room needed. $75 per night extra. - to be paid directly to owner. This clear water lake is ideal for swimming, kayaking, and waterskiing, and the large, grassy yard is perfect for Bocci and ladder ball matches. After a fun-filled day spent on the water, enjoy a cozy campfire under the stars.brbrSheridan Lake is well known for it's extraordinary fishing with nearly 300 000 fish stocked into the lake each year. The Interlakes Trail Network is at your doorstep and is perfect for snowmobiling, dirt and mountain biking, ATV'ing, and hiking. brbrCabin amenities include your use of kayaks during the summer months and snowshoes in the winter. We're just 5 scenic hours from Vancouver and one and one half hours from Kamloops, and we're dog-friendly. brbrThe space:brbrThere is a queen size bed in the downstairs bedroom, and two queens and one twin in the large upstairs bedroom. The separate games room has a queen bed as well. brbrThere is a full bathroom downstairs and a lovely little outhouse behind the cabin.brbrOur kitchen is fully appointed: Appliances, pots, pans, utensils and plenty of dishes, coffeemaker, toaster, slow cooker, microwave, etc. There is a propane Weber BBQ on the back deck.brbrGuest access:brI won't be there to greet you but am only a phone call or text away to address any questions that come up. You will receive a code for the keyless entry prior to your check-in. brbrPlease Note:brThis cabin is perfect for couples, families, and quiet gatherings of friends. If your plans include parties please look elsewhere. If it is determined that all guests were not accounted for at the time of booking and/or that there are more than 8 guests accessing the property, your party will be asked to leave the cabin and your damage deposit will be forfeited. brbrCheck-in time is 3:00 pm. Check-out time is 10:00 am. By necessity, we are unable to accommodate requests for early check-ins or late check-outs.brbrTo ensure the safety of our guests, we have enhanced our cleaning procedures to include the disinfection of all high touch surfaces including remote controls, light switches, door and cabinet handles, flat surfaces, etc. brbrA quilt is provided for each bed. Guests are required to bring their own sheets and towels, and we do recommend our guests bring their own pillows and extra blankets. brbrWe provide wood for use in the fire pit. The Government of British Columbia often restricts burning fires in the summer months to prevent wildfires. Burning during a ban is dangerous and the penalties are severe. Guests are responsible for following current fire restrictions during their stay. Fishing boats can be rented from a nearby resort.
