Located just off of Hwy 80, this former ranch homestead was first settled by ranchers who ran cattle from the San Pedro River Valley west to the Whetstone Mountains. Now you can enjoy this one bedroom, one bath home that has modern kitchen amenities and a family/dining room combo. You can sit in the privacy of your backyard and watch the birds and bunnies pass through. If you are a birder, there are many species of birds that frequent this property. We are located very close to the San Pedro River Valley corridor in which a thousand species of birds pass during the seasonal migrations. We are located within an easy drive for day trips to many other wildlife refuges where birders are treated to a large congregation of birds in the winter months. brbrYou will find the kitchen is equipped with plenty of cookware, utensils, large refrigerator, electric oven/range, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and outdoor grill. There is also a clothes washer and dryer in the Guest Cabin. brbrDiscounts available for monthly (29 days or more) or weekly (7 days minimum) rentals. The VRBO system will deduct from the daily rate and calculate for you the final discounted rate. brbrPeople traveling with horses are welcome to stay. The property is accessible and there's room to park your truck and trailer. Horse amenities include individual corrals, arena, dry-lot turnouts with shades. There is a nightly fee of $20/horse not included in the daily rate to rent the Guest Cabin. We are located within a reasonable commute for day trips for trail riding and/or hiking. Inquire prior to reserving if you are traveling with horses.brbrA few nearby attractions, that make a great day trip are Tombstone and Bisbee, Fort Bowie National Historic Site, Kartchner Caverns State Park, Cochise Stronghold (visible from the property), the nearby Amerind Foundation Museum, or the historic settlement of Fairbank.
