I have stayed in many VRBO properties around Europe. Villa Panoralma is among the very best. It is very well equipped very clean and a perfect position for a 180° unobstructed view of the sea. We have central air conditioning at home and were a bit concerned when we found out there was not in the house, but if you follow the instructions to manage the temperature it’s perfectly comfortable. The check-in and check out process was simple and easy to understand. we did not need any help during our stay but the owner checked in regularly to make sure everything was going well. We were four adults three teenagers and a 10-year-old child and the house had plenty of room, plenty of seating for dinner and plenty of kitchen equipment. The village of Begur nearby is charming with lots of nice restaurants and shops. We walked to the beach a few times it’s about a 20 minute walk but spent most of the time around the pool. There is a more secluded beach that has excellent clear water for snorkeling.
Loved it. Only thing to improve it would have been having the key at the property (so not having to go somewhere else to collect it) and being able to keep the key in the property at check out time (instead of having to deliver it to another address).
We have been to different rental houses all over the world and „Panoralma“ is one of the best we have ever stayed in. It is not only the location, which is superb, or the architecture of the house with its clean style, but also Marc, the owner, who make it a perfect vacation place. He is always quick and nice in answering and giving advice whenever needed.The nearest beach of Sa Tuna is just a 15-20 minute hike down a path along the coast, but honestly we were rarely there because Marc‘s house was such a perfect location to relax and enjoy the spectacular views over the sea and that without being with the crowds.The town of Begur is also such a lovely place with many good restaurants to try but you do need a car to move around.Whoever is fond of cycling will also find it fun and challenging with the many hills but will also enjoy the spectacular views.All and all it was a wonderful vacation and will definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for the perfect one!. We stayed at this villa for 15 nights and, as we left, we all agreed that we could easily have stayed for another two weeks. The location and view are exceptional - even better than the pictures can show.The ground floor of the villa is very well designed to maximize enjoyment of the pool, the deck and the unsurpassed view of the sea. Sea-facing walls are made up of giant, sliding glass doors, enabling guests to fully open the interior space to the pool, deck and views - making one, continuous indoor/outdoor living area. For us, this meant that those using the kitchen or living room were never cut off from socializing or simply enjoying the view.The host (Marc) is exceptionally responsive and thoughtful. As we settled in at the beginning of our stay, we had a few questions about the house and its systems. Marc always responded quickly and helpfully.We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it.
8 of us (6 adults and 2 children) spent a lovely week here, and lots of great memories were created at this villa. The construction is new and of high quality. The furnishings are very modern, yet comfortable, and kitchen and laundry equipment are the latest in technology. The owner and the management company are very responsive and accommodating. Their suggestions on beaches, restaurants and things to do in the area were very helpful. We spent our week exploring Begur, Pals, Dali museums in Figueres, Cadaques and Pubol, hot air ballooning and beach hopping between Sa Tuna, Sa Riera, Aiguablava and Platja Fonda. All spectacular places to visit. We wish we had more time to stay here and continue exploring. This property did not disappoint on any level. We would highly recommend it to groups and families seeking a perfect base for their vacation in Costa Brava.
The villa is equipped to a very high standard and has amazing views. We would definitely look to stay again!The road to the villa is a little small in places, but it's worth it for the views / location!We found the pool too cold in September, but this has hopefully improved with the solar heating. The only other thing which would have been nice is a TV in the lounge.
We spend a week in the villa (2 adults and 3 kids) and enjoyed it very much. The owner and the property management were very quick to respond to our needs. The pictures and text on the homepage describes the property very well, but the views are even more exceptional in real- life! We loved to prepare dinner in the kitchen while watcing the sea and the passing ships below. The place was very clean and well equipped. A hiking trail (with lots of rosemary for cooking) leads from the house to a coisy fishing village 10min to the north. The only minor downside is that there is no shops in the vicinity (however, the cosy town of Begur is 7 min. away by car). Due to the location on a hill-side, parking space on the premises is limited. However, these are minor issues and we will happily recommend this house to others!
