    Amazing location! WHAT A VIEW!

From the moment we booked our stay, Les and Linda were in contact with us, very informative. They even checked in with us while we were at their Villa to see if we needed anything. Wonderful people and Marcia the property manager met us at the Villa to give us keys and great tips on places to visit. Villa is literally on the beach, steps right in to the beautiful Caribbean Sea. Snorkeling was great, even saw a couple turtles! We were even treated to the most beautiful rainbows 🌈! We can’t wait to return.

Literally right on the water, very comfortable, quiet apartment, supportive owners, great swimming from the private cove, would gladly stay again.

Enjoyed the villa but a few issues with location and the amenities

It was a nice, clean, comfortable villa with great views of the ocean but was too far from most of the Cropover events which was the reason for our stay. The villa was extremely hot upon checking in and a suggestion would be to turn on the AC several hours prior to guests arriving. It was disappointing after traveling all day to arrive in a hot villa. We had to shut all the windows and turn on the AC. Also, it was 5 ladies staying for an entire week with only 4 rolls of toilet paper. After requesting more toilet paper, it was advised that we go out and purchase our own. That was quite a shock. We all thought that basic necessities such as toilet paper would be ample and provided.

Lovely Villa for an Island Getaway

I stayed in late April with my mother, and we both enjoyed the villa very much, There were no steps inside, which was helpful for my mother. We both enjoyed being on the balcony with the ocean views, especially in the cooler mornings. The villa is located on the northwest part of the island in St Lucy, a more rural area, but lovely, where you can get a real taste of local life. We rented a car and toured several places on the north part of the island (Animal Flower Cave, Bathsheba, Wildlife Preserve, 2 botanical gardens) and went to the Earthworks Pottery. The Bajans are all so friendly. The villa is equipped with everything you need: we packed lunches for the beach (I had brought a soft-sided cooler) and cooked small dinners most nights. The beach towels and umbrellas provided were super helpful. Visitors may want to bring water shoes as some of the beaches are a bit rocky. We went to Gibbes Beach twice and Schooner Bay in Speightstown to find places with fewer ocean rocks. If you gauge it right, dipping into the ocean via Sea Spray's cove is quite delightful. Theresa was there to orient us and provided useful information upon arrival and departure. The owners checked in several times, which was nice -- very helpful if you need assistance during your stay. I think Sea Spray Villas was a great choice: lovely views and good amenities.

Les, Linda, and Theresa Warner are wonderful hosts. Sea Spray Villa is fantastic. Ideal location. Locals are very friendly and helpful. As you can see in the photos you walk down a set of private stairs to your own beach. Great snorkeling, just swim south of the villa towards half moon bay. We saw turtles every day. If you want a large beach to yourself walk north around the corner to moon town (5 minutes) and take the stairs next to Merton's Fish Fry to Freyers Well Bay beach. There is a small bar run by a very friendly Travis. He also has a dive shop. Buy fresh fish from the fishermen next to Merton's if you want to cook at home. Definitely enjoy a meal at Merton's and Braddy's (south of the Fish Pot on 6 Men's Bay). There is also takeout at the supermarket/deli/bar/hardware store in Moontown. Ask them to make fish cakes for you with sauce. Heywoods/Pt St Charles is a 20 minute walk/5 minute drive to another beautiful beach with great snorkeling. Holetown has Folkstone marine reserve, good snorkeling on the North side of the roped area. We went on a couple of nice sailing/snorkeling trips, used Shasa (8 people max) and Calabaza (12 people max). Shasa leaves out of Holetown which is near Sea Spray, Calabaza from Bridetown which is a 40 minute drive. Both are highly recommended. Check out the lighthouse and Animal Flower cave if you have a car, very close by Sea Spray. Great rental, great hosts, can't recommend enough!

We had a great time at your villa. The location was nice being away from all the hustle but only a 10 min bus ride away from Speightstown. Fantastic weather and great water. We were able to swim right from the villa. Snorkeling was great right out in front of our villa. We were able to access Animal flower cave in under 25 mins. It is a must see location on the island. The tour around the island was also a great way to spend a day. We also organized the Harbor Lights event and the pickup from the villa was great. The local transit is a must to try. The ZR vans are quick and the music is lively on the quick ride to Speightstown. The fish pot restaurant is only about a 4 min walk south of the villa. Great breakfasts and dinners. The Villa had all the utensils we needed for cooking at home. The bedrooms were great with the A/C and the nice sea breezes at night. The feeling of the waves crashing on the coral were just an added bonus. Theresa was great organizing all of our events. She was quick to respond to any of our requests. Thank you for a great vacation!

Our family just returned from Barbados and had an absolutely fantastic time! The location of this home was perfect! We were able to walk to a few restaurants, but also cook/bbq in the comfort of a home, which is especially useful with children. The balcony was certainly a highlight. We spent mornings enjoying coffee and playing cards with the kids, and evenings sipping on wine. The sound of the waves would lull us to sleep every night. Theresa would check in with us regularly, and was especially helpful in organizing a dinner extravaganza for us in Bridgetown. We rented a car so it made exploring the island much more convenient. We would highly recommend this home away from home :)...Paul and Jasmine Mathew

This place is great for so many reasons and loved our 2 weeks away. Location is far enough away from the busy Bridgetown area and far less touristy. The locals are warm friendly people and we felt welcomed and safe. Moontown has everything you need within a 5 minute stumble or walk. Moontown has a well stocked grocery store, bar and local hub. Karaoke at Moontown bar is a must! Directly across the street from Moontown is Merton's Fish fry on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Smell of Mahogany wood fire, fresh fish, casual setting and sound of the ocean.(Bring Cash-no credit or debit card) Oistens fish fry is a must do too with lots of sites and sounds party atmosphere. Holetown is a nice place to go for the day although found it was a bit too ritzy and uptight. Speightstown is the closest large town and has lots of spots to see and keeps the local Barbadian feel. Bridgetown has lots to see but found we only did a couple day trips there as we liked very much where we were. Traveling around the Island was easy enough. We did not have a car rental and may try that next time for a bit more freedom. Cabs are relatively easy to get and a bit pricey. Once you get onto the the bussing system is a good and cheap way to get around. $2 Barbadian gets you a large bus and local zone buses are little vans that get you in the local district areas. Got dropped off right by the house and the best pick up spot along the main drag before the Crab Hill turn off. There is no real time schedule and have to cope with that especially getting back from the north end of the island. The house is nice with a casual comfortable layout with a kitchen had all you need if you wanted to cook. We did not use the air conditioning in the bedroom rather left windows open and fans on to fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean and tree frogs. As you can see from pictures the owner posted there is a stairs that leads right into the ocean and a beach within a 5 minute walk north or south of the house. Awesome snorkeling with fish, rays and saw a turtle off the beach too. The owner called prior to our arrival and prior to our departure and was very accommodating to our needs. We did a few tours but our favorites were a catamaran tour with snorkelling with turtles and sunken ships on a sunset tour and the other was Animal flower Cave with a tour guide thru the caves with lunch overlooking the north end of the island. We highly recommend this property and Barbados as a destination.

If you come here you will love it... the photos promoting the villa are great but the place when you get there is soooo much better, the view from the balcony is to die for! So easy to get around the island from here as there’s a bus stop right by which is an experience in itself and when you come back you feel you can get away from it all and chill. The fish pot 2 minutes walk away serves tasty food at an expense or drop into moontown and there’s ‘take away food’ that’s tasty at a great price While there the owners phoned twice to check all was going well which was nice and Natalie was brill and really helpful when called upon! The little bay down the side of the villa is a hidden gem for snorkelling and is full of cool fish including puffa fish, octopus, eels to name just a few... so to sum up can’t fault it and will definitely be going back!!!!

My wife and I and another couple spent 12 nights at the upper unit recently (Jul/Aug). The best thing about the unit has to be the view from both the balcony and even the living area - never got tired of that view :-). During our stay, the lower unit was not occupied for most of the time so we were allowed to spend time on the lower terrace and use the hose they had there to rinse off after coming back from the beach. The owners (Les and Linda) called to welcome us and to ensure that all was OK. They also called to thank us for staying before we left. The property manager (Natalie) was very helpful and pleasant. This is not a touristy place, so although you may pass a few tourists, you are pretty much surrounded by locals. This was a good thing as we were surprised at just how friendly Bajan people are. Most would say hello and wish us a good vacation, and we shared a few beers with locals at Moontown which was nice. As people who have spent many vacations at all-inclusives, this was an interesting change. Note that we were told it would be better not to drink tap water, so we ended up buying an awful lot of bottled water which was not cheap (about $5 USD/gallon locally at MoonTown and about $3.50 USD at Massy's Supermarket in Holetown.) The unit itself is well equipped and looks much like the pictures - so no surprises there. We were happy with the place although we did find the main living area to be warm at times. Both bedrooms have AC so you will sleep comfortably, but quite surprisingly there was no breeze at all coming from the ocean. In fact, the breezes came inland and blew out towards the ocean. Our bathroom had a great shower and always had plenty of warm water. Having a washer/dryer was nice bonus. There is indeed a neighbor's dog that tends to bark at night at various hours - not a big deal - just a nuisance. A suggestion that we made to Natalie was to get rid of the carpet in the other (master) bedroom and replace it with tile (like our bedroom). The best thing about the place has to be the view - the worst has to be the roads on the west coast - certainly not the most relaxing place to drive! Too many narrow roads that are not very well kept. We were told that the east coast roads were much better - but we never got there. For the money we paid, this place is good value. You have small beaches within walking distance and snorkelling directly in front - and that view .... not too shabby :-

WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE SEA SPRAY VILLA! My wife and I stayed here from May 2 - 12. We chose this property for the terrific balcony, and we were not disappointed. The ocean view is spectacular. You are so close to the water you can literally feel it when a big wave hits the rocks. The villa had everything you need in the kitchen. The AC in the master bedroom is VERY strong. We did not use the 2nd bedroom so I cannot speak to the AC in that room. The bed was very comfortable. And they provided quality linens. The living are furniture was also of good quality and very comfortable. And the wifi was fast and dependable. A nice widescreen tv that we never even turned on. And they have a very large washer and dryer on site. The villa has a terrific breezeway that keeps the living area very comfortable. We spent hours on the balcony reading, watching and listening to the birds, drinking coffee, having breakfast, lunch and dinner, watching the passing boats, etc. The owners, Les and Linda were very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. They were very responsive with all of our inquiries. And Natalie was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the local feel of this location. Like most of Barbados the tourists are mingling with the locals, unlike many other islands where tourism dominates the scene. The Bahans are without a doubt the friendliest people we have met in our travels. We opted to not rent a car. We used the buses to go to Hunt's Garden, EarthWorks Pottery, Animal Flower Cave, Bridgetown, Holetown, and Speightstown. People are more then willing to help you with directions. You can pickup and get off the buses just a few meters from the villa. We ate at Merton's on 3 nights, 200 meters from the villa. The greatest seared Tuna we have ever had. Other nights we ate in the villa utilizing the fully equipped kichen.

We have stayed at many villas and rentals in the Caribbean as well as in Europe, and this one is one of the best. If you like to get away from the touristy areas, and take things at your own pace, the location is awesome, with the beautiful Caribbean literally at your feet, a bus stop less than 100 yds away, and a grocery store just around the corner. It is also a very safe place to stay, and the people living around made us feel very welcome. We did most of our grocery shopping at Moontown, just around the corner, and bought take out food at the little deli counter just outside it, to eat at home. The Fishpot, an excellent restaurant with very friendly and efficient service, was just a five minute walk away. We even walked to Speightstown from the villa, about half an hour. It is worth the visit, with its restaurants and bars along the beach. We never needed a car, but did rent one for one day to do some sightseeing, and to purchase some more of the gorgeous pottery at Earthworks. Although this was our fourth visit to Barbados, there were still things we had never seen, such as the Wildlife Reserve , the North Point Restaurant on the cliffs at the north end of the island, and the Atlantis, near Bathsheba. Linda and Les are excellent hosts. They called us often just to see how we were getting on. Their property manager, Valdez, couldn't have been nicer, and was always available when needed. Linda, Les and Valdez were always keen to hear our suggestions, and would act on them when possible. For example, we mentioned to Valdez that it would be nice to have a lounge chair on the upper level, where we stayed, and within half an hour, had brought us one! A small note; if you are planning to listen to music on your iPhone, you will need to bring an adaptor, as the sound system there uses the docking pad from an older model iPod. But, the sound of the waves was usually music enough for us! We would definitely come back to the Sea Spray, and we would bring our whole family, too!

This is a great rental for folks looking to get away from the formality of a hotel. In exchange for some of the conveniences, you get a home away from home with a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed with A/C in the room if you want it. The best part is the amazing view off the balcony, the sunsets and the sound of the water splashing again the rocks below. Great hospitality from the owners Linda and Wes. Mr. Valdes Smith is a pleasure at check-in and check out. I will certainly return.

I enjoyed this accommodation very much. Reading other guest reviews, I find them to be most accurate. The amenities, location, hosts... all wonderful and homey! Kitchen clean, well appointed... hosts that make sure you have everything you need and want. Sat on the balcony every morning with my coffee...and captured many sunsets with this spectacular view as you are right on the ocean. I liked the fact it is away from the big tourist activity, but close enough when you feel like engaging. I ate at the local eatery almost everyday which is a minute walk from Sea Spray. For $20BDS you can get some great home cooking that will make you very happy. But for me the best thing.....being with the locals. That is what Barbados is all about...the people. And at Sea Spray, you are with the locals. Moontown is Chillin' You should get a car, its great to drive around the island and explore! A huge thank you to Valdez (caretaker) and Angela (housekeeper). Were there to greet when I arrived and made me feel special! I will be back!!!

I enjoyed my stay at this very clean, nicely furnished, and decorated place. The location being right at the waters edge provides a great view of the ocean. Steps lead you down to the water into a mini-cove where you can swim and snorkel. The furnishings provide for a comfortable stay. Bedrooms have private baths with showers which is an extra comfort and time-saving features for travelers. The living area was spacious and open from which a view of the ocean can been seen through wide french doors. The kitchen is supplied with nice cookware and enough extras to cook a meal. A serious chef would want to bring basic items such as spices, oil, etc. Overall the place is very nice. I felt I got good value in the stay. From the apartment you can walk a short distance to a quiet sandy beach and a few roadside places at Moontown where you can sit down for a simple meal and drink a beer. A small shop is supplied with enough for purchase of what you would need to get by on a short trip. You can take a local bus a short distance to Speightstown which has a some bars, restaurants and stores. There are also some nice resorts not too far that you can drop into for a fancy dinner or sit at the bar and hear a band play. The next closest town is Holetown which is not too far to travel by bus. I found that getting around with local transport was fairly convenient with a bus stop just next to the apartment where both smaller vans and larger buses come by. Being on the north side you are away from the activity of Bridgetown. However, you do have access to some attractions such as flower caves, St. Nicolas Abbey rum distillery and a few others. The owners Les and Linda were very helpful and responsive.

Who showed us around the apartment and how everything worked in fine detail. We ordered some groceries before leaving the uk which were there on arrival. We organised with Valdez to take us to the cricket at the Kensington oval, he even went down to the box office prior and purchased us tickets so that we did not have to que on match day( we loved Valdez) the apartment was very well equipped as advertised and had everything we needed for a chilled and relaxed holiday. Having your own little private beach was an added bonus. It was like a Bajan family had moved out and let you stay in there home. The owners Les and Linda call us several times to make sure we were happy and settled. We have stayed in Barbados many times normally in the St James area but we have now totally fallen in love with the north of the island. We would highly recommend seaspray if you want to experience the real Barbados. Thank you very much Les and Linda (our new family) we will be BACK.. Jason and Sue..

This was my fourth trip to the island, as I come every February. I can honestly say this was the best spot I have stayed. If you are looking for a very chill location that has everything you need, this is the spot for you. The condo is clean, well equipped and close to everything. The snorkeling right out of the condo is amazing. St. Elmo's right up the road has everything you need and the Fish Pot was good. However, make reservations as they don't take walk-ins. Make sure you reserve early and they actually write your info down. This was the only hiccup of our trip, twice. However, that certainly has nothing to do with the condo and there are plenty of places in Speightstown to eat and if you want to take a bus you can go to Hometown for more options. Can't wait to go back next year.

We stayed at Sea Spray in early December 2016- my husband, 24 year-old son and, for the last few days, his girlfriend. I had chosen Sea Spray after sifting through numerous rental properties and I didn't stop congratulating myself the whole time we were there! For us, it was perfect. The villa is very comfortable - both double bedrooms have an en suite bathroom, making it ideal for two couples as well as a family. The air-con keeps the bedrooms very cool and the ceiling fans are just right in the light and airy living room; the wifi is excellent. And, as others have commented, Sea Spray is wonderfully close to the Caribbean Sea. If we hadn't wanted to explore the island, it being our first visit, I think we could have spent our whole stay in the villa and its immediate surroundings as everything we needed was within easy walking distance. As well as the villa's private access to the sea, there are two beaches close-by, one (unnamed, I think) to the south of the villa and visible from the balcony, and the other, Fr(e)yers Well beach, a short walk to the north. Both are quiet and unspoiled - but if your preference is for sunbeds and watersports a bus ride south will take you to Mullins beach. St Elmo's store, just up the road, has pretty much everything you are likely to need, including take-away food which is excellent value. Merton's fish-fry (Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings) is not to be missed! If you want a wider range of groceries for self-catering, there are very good shops in Speightstown, two miles away. We loved Speightstown - there are plenty of interesting places to eat and drink, and the Arlington House museum is well worth a visit. It is also a transport hub for the northern part of the island. We went everywhere by bus; there are bus-stops every 2-3 hundred metres and the ones outside Sea Spray are just a few steps away. Linda and Les made us feel very welcome, calling us to check all was OK, while their manager was on hand to sort out any problems; arrival and departure worked very smoothly. Altogether, I thoroughly recommend Sea Spray, especially if, like us, you are not attracted by the all-inclusive concept or the very busy resorts further south. We hope to return next year!

My partner and my 2 teenage boys, age 16 and 17 arrived for a 2 week holiday in the upper level. We were met by the lovely Manager, who showed us round and answered any questions we had, he was very courteous and helpful. The first thing that hits you when you walk into the villa is the truly outstanding view. You are right on the beach, it is not called Sea Spray for nothing, the only sound you could hear at night was the waves lashing against the property below. The villa has everything you need, including excellent wi-fi. We stopped off on our way to the villa to purchase essentials, we really didn't need to as the little shop in Moontown, 100 metres away, called St Elmo's had everything we needed and more, you can also purchase hot food take away from here. I would recommend one big shop then just topping up at this store as it really is very competitively priced. Only thing it lacked was fresh meat so you could purchase enough of this on your one big shop, freeze it and manage just with a top up at the local store. St Elmo's also has the local bar opposite which had entertainment Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings, Karaoke on a Friday and Sunday with limbo dancing. There is also a restaurant next door to this bar which has quite a reputation for its Fish Fry on a Friday evening. We would normally hire a car but as we were so well located for public transport we didn't bother. The buses stop just outside the villa and will take you for $2, all the way down to Bridgetown, going through Speightstown and Holetown and passing all the lovely beaches on the way. We got on the yellow Regge, Regge bus, so called because it plays Regge music on your journey. We found the bus such fun and got to chat to many locals whilst travelling. The villa itself is just as described, nicely furnished with a very homely feel. Guests were in the villa below us for our 1st week but privacy was not an issue, we didn't even notice anyone was there. You can go down the steps at the side of the property and you are straight into the sea, fantastic for snorkelling. About 50 metres away from the property is a lovely little beach, we had sole use of this beach while we were there. You could walk along this beach to the Fish Pot Restaurant, we sat on the seat at the end of their jetty and watched the most amazing sun sets. This really is a beautiful un-spoilt place to spend a Caribbean holiday, we intend to return.

Upon our arrival at the lower level, the stunning view of the ocean, the abundant vegetation and the coziness of the patio combined to provide an overwhelming sense of relaxation. We had spent the previous weeks on the busy south coast, and we immediately felt any remaining tension dissolve completely. The property is clean, it is well furnished and it lives up to its description. Linda the owner was very attentive, contacting us by email and phone to make certain that our stay was enjoyable. We very much enjoyed the snorkelling, accessing the water via the private stairway: we kept going back to the beautiful coral reefs that were teaming with tropical fish, with occasional sightings of turtles. Although the owners recommend a car, we managed fine by taxi, bus and by foot: the nearby grocery and bar are 5 minutes away by foot, and the excellent Fish Pot restaurant is a ten minute walk. Buses are cheap and frequent, providing an unexpected reggae experience. And the locals are warm and welcoming: Barbados is indeed a paradise. We very much recommend this property, and are looking forward to returning next year.

We recently returned from a wonderful stay at the Sea Spray Villa. We were two couples and we rented the upstairs unit. This Villa lives up to all of the pictures and positive reviews. It is beautifully finished and fully equipped with a full variety of glassware, utensils, cooking equipment etc. Everything is of very good quality. There is also a big screen TV and satellite. With the front door open and the French doors to the balcony open, a smooth Caribbean breeze fills the unit. The location is ideal for travellers who do not want to stay in the heart of the ‘hotel district.’ No early morning attempts to secure a chair in the sun for the day are required..! The villa is very secure and private, yet only a 2 minute walk from local amenities. The snorkelling right in front of the Villa is as good as anywhere on the island. Entering the ocean from your own private beach is an added bonus. We did also enjoy swimming with the Turtles from the beach behind the Lone Star. We arranged a rental car through Tricia, who was very helpful. The car was delivered to the Villa and all the paperwork was completed there. For 7 days we explored the entire island hitting most of the recommended attractions, and some that were not on the map. The views from the Animal Flower Cave, Cherry Tree Hill and Bathsheba are breathtaking. The owners, Les and Linda were very generous with their time and patience. They were in contact with us throughout our vacation to ensure that everything was as expected and available for any questions that we may have. They also arranged for our airport pick up. Our driver, Valdez, was very professional and informative. Thank you so much Les and Linda for making our first trip to Barbados so memorable. When we plan our return trip we will be contacting you again…!

Myself and my husband had a fantastic time at seaspray and were overwhelmed by the hospitality and thoughtfulness of Linda and Les the owners who made sure by getting in touch very regularly that everything was going well. The position of the villa for us could not have been better, the view especially-near enough to enjoy wonderful restuarants and sophisticated cuisine and shopping but not too touristy and it was situated near local amenities and wonderful people. Barbadian people are so friendly-please make sure to visit the local bar and supermarket which we enjoyed very much-they even put our Swansea football premier league match on for my husband to watch! Please be careful not to step on any spiny sea urchins though, I encountered one on Heywoods beach and it was painful! The villa has wonderful views and is well equipped. Our son stayed for one week with us and he enjoyed it very much. We saw a green parrot, monkeys and even a sea eagle catching a fish from the balcony-we hope to return and see them again. Thank you for a lovely time.

We had a great time at the villa and enjoyed the surrounding beaches and attractions. The house was well furnished and comfortable. The small sand area at the base of the stairs (perhaps 10 steps) was an easy into the water most of the time. In January (and we have seen this all over the Caribbean) the ocean is a little rougher than late spring (which is considerably calmer) so there were times when the waves were crashing a little to heavy to safely enter there but the one minute walk to either Smittons (to the right out the door) or Half Moon Fort beach (to the left) were available. We snorkled just about all the beaches down the west coast during our two week stay and saw turtles at Smittons and Carlisle but no where else. However, the snorkling was good in more or lesser degrees on all the beaches and some had very interesting underwater topography. Shopping was very easy and while we stopped at SuperCenter on the way to the house, we felt Jordan's had everything we needed and shopped there the rest of the time. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony each evening (we had the upper level) and watching the boats. We like to be in the more family areas of an island and having beaches to ourselves rather than in the hotel areas so this place was great for us. There are large number of fish available just at the house beach and you can often see them from the balcony. The dog that others mention does do his barking but was not a problem for us, however, visitors should be aware that this property is on the beach and therefore has considerable traffic in front of the house which is typical for beach homes on the more populated islands such as Barbados. The bus system is the best we have seen on any island (or any other place we have been) with busses available every few minutes it seemed (but also going by in front of the house!). All in all though, a very nice stay and the people of Barbados were extremely friendly and open to visitors. If you rent a car (as we did), have your phone GPS or GPS available because the road marking are few and far between!!

Seaspray is a MUST for people wanting to experience REAL Barbados!

We arrived late as our flight was delayed in Toronto. Learning to drive on the left in the dark and rain was fun as we made our way up to Saint Lucy. Tricia was there waiting for us to check us in. She was so helpful and accommodating. She was available many times throughout our stay to help out with many helpful tips. She even put us in contact with a gentleman in the Barbados Yacht Club that ultimately helped us get on a sailboat for the Mount Gay Rum Round Barbados Regatta. THANK YOU TRICIA!!! The condo is amazing and much like other reviews have pointed out, the owners contacted us several times to ensure our stay was going well. Nice touch! The waves crash below the condo making this an ideal getaway from city life. We didn't rent the bottom unit as we thought the upper unit had a better view. BOTH upstairs and down are nice places as we had the opportunity to see both before we left. The stairs down to the beach were easy to navigate and are shared with neighbors Karl and Lisa. We met Karl and his friend Steve while they returned from a day of fishing. After a nice conversation, Karl invited us to watch the sunset with his wife Lisa right next door at Half Moon Fort. What an amazing Bajan couple! ENGAGE WITH LOCALS, YOU'LL BE AMAZED AT HOW THEY WELCOME YOU INTO THEIR LIVES! So nice! Locally, just 1 minute walk up the road on the right is St. Elmos Sports bar and grocery store with local Bajan cuisine! Say Hi to Lucy for me! They also have Karaoke on the weekends. The bakery is amazing too although you might miss it if you didn't know it was on your left when entering the grocery store. Across the street is Merton's which has a fish fry Fridays and Saturdays. A far different experience than Oistens! More of a local feel to it than touristy. I highly recommend visiting these places. Also, be entertained by some of the most energetic domino players I have ever seen! Yes, the neighbor has a dog that they leave outside and had barked occasionally at night. Give a shout at the dog to quiet him down. A shame the neighbor can't be a little more considerate of the dog and the people around him but sometimes that's just people isn't it? The noise was minimal and not anything more than I would expect living in a local neighborhood. We would stay here again on when we return to Barbados. Thank you Les and Linda!

Although a little apprehensive at how far up the west coast we were driving to Sea Spray, it turned out to be an excellent location - cross island access to Andromeda Botanical Gardens and our favorite deserted beaches on the east coast for those long walks, close access down to the shopping in Holetown (SuperCenter for the one stop shopping for supplies for the week) and Speightstown and also the central island attractions such as Harrison's Cave & Welchman's Gully. We visited the tourist chaos on the south coast and realized we had made the right choice. Fishpot Restaurant a short walk away provided an excellent dinner out. The house is beautifully located right on the cliff with sea pounding below - great to hear the waves and have the gorgeous view. Plenty of room and everything you need for the stay - this is a great choice. Tricia the Manager was helpful with advice, waiting for us on arrival and dead on time for departure and responsive by phone. Thanks Tricia! Got a couple of calls during week from the owners to make sure all was going well. Very welcoming. Much appreciated. We are looking forward to a return visit!

Our family of 5 spent 2 fantastic weeks at the Seaspray. The house is on top of a secluded bay, looking out over the ocean and coral cliffs, with a direct view to the sunset every day. It does not get more beautiful than this. The beach below is great for svimming, snorkeling and playing in the waves, but not for tanning. The area is a little away from the bigger hotels, which we enjoyed. Furthermore, the owners and the house managers are very helpful and professional about everything (thank you very much) and the facilities are flawless and as described on the website, so we were very happy campers. Only issue is noise when sleeping with open windows: the dog next door barks a lot early in the morning, and the road is right outside so traffic is heard. Thank you very much for 2 great weeks! Fam. Nemery

Our family have just returned from seaspray barbados after a fantastic 10 day stay in this beautiful holiday home. We were first timers to this type of holiday - it was so easy to organise. Communication from the warners and trisha was really fast and so helpful. Trisha organised transfers from the airport for us so we stepped off the plane into a taxi and then into the sea - all very stress free. We arrived on a friday late afternoon and st elmos mini market is about 2 mins walk up the road which is open 08-00 til 23.00 ish and has everything you could need really well stocked. The pictures of this house do not prepare you for how beautiful it is and how well maintained. The kitchen is home from home - with every appliance you could think of. Its really clean and also cleaned again for you during the week. Our children are 10 and 15 and for this age group couldn,t want for more- great activity beach lots of snorkling. We bused all over the island with ease never used a taxi from right outside the front door... Became regulars at speightstown bus terminal where you can get everywhere you need -again really helpful staff. The fish pot is a 5 min walk down the beach for a drink where they have a safe swimming area for toddlers and lovely rum punch not for toddlers!! Allynes beach is a 15 min bus ride with a great lunch bar and you can swim with wild turtles just off the beach.Loads of great things to do in barbados. In summary the house is a real treat - spacious and light and steps down to secluded beach which our kids swam from day break til sun set off.Trish would have organised any thing we wanted but we were happy to muddle along. She is in phone contact at all times. 2 mins to shop with all you will need , mertons fish fri thur fri and sat is family friendly and well priced. Moon town feels really safe and i was sad to leave. A great value holiday -we will return as soon as possible.

We still can't stop talking about this trip!

This was our 2nd trip to Barbados and the first time around we stayed in the St. Lawrence Gap and enjoyed a lot of the major tourist attractions. The pictures and descriptions of Sea Spray set the perfect tone for the kind of vacation we were looking for this time. We wanted a nice quiet place on the beach, privacy, convenience and cleanliness. Sea Spray exceeded every single expectation we had for our trip! The pictures can't possibly give you the same sense of peace and joy as actually waking up every morning to the sight of beautiful blue waters right out your window! Or enjoying the calm tide with a brand new sunset every evening! Or feasting on our daily catch for dinner under what seemed like an endless canopy of stars! The Villa itself: PERFECT!!! Everything about Sea Spray Villa was amazing! It was so clean, and was equipped with everything you can possibly need for your stay. The kitchen had all the tools needed to prepare delicious meals, snacks and drinks. Both levels were well kept and the lower patio was the perfect spot to start and end each day! Tricia the property manager, was so helpful and patient in answering all our questions and really helped us feel very comfortable from the get go. We initially planned on renting a car for our 10 night stay, but we could barely get ourselves out of the water at our own private beach. We spent the majority of our days on our beach. (We brought floaters/snorkel gear which were perfect and were used daily) We found the city and private buses extremely convenient and very affordable at $2/trip. When we did leave Sea Spray we used them to see the North Coast Cliffs, Bathsheba on the East Coast (which should not be missed!), and to town. We did one main grocery haul from Jordans in Speightstown and fresh produce from the markets there. Throughout our stay we crossed the street to the local store to pick up anything extra. The locals were extremely pleasant and helpful and made us feel right at home. Les and Linda- Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful piece of paradise! This was a trip that our family will forever cherish as it gave us a chance to really spend some quality time together and enjoy all the things we love most! On our last day our taxi arrived promptly at 12:30 and we were all still enjoying the beach up until 12! After 10 days we really felt like we were at home and were sad to say goodbye to Sea Spray. We can't wait to come back

We stayed three weeks at the Seaspray Villa, upper level, in May 2012 and had a great time. As we like to swim a lot, we appreciated the small private beach accessible immediately from the house. The furnishing is very tasteful and practical at the same time. We also enjoyed the full internet access, wire based and wireless, which made possible to keep in touch with friends and relatives at home. Restaurants and shopping are at walking distance, so we didn’t need a car. For longer trips we just took a taxi or the bus, which stops just a few steps from the front door. Plant and gardening fans shouldn’t miss a visit to the Andromeda Botanical Gardens on the east coast of the island. Tricia, the manager, was a great help in all situations and the owner was kindly checking by phone if everything is to our satisfaction, which it really was. All in all we had a great vacation and hope to come back sometimes soon.

Seaspray at Half Moon Fort is the perfect place to stay on Barbados. The deck overlooking the beautiful Caribbean Sea provides awesome sunsets and a wonderful opportunity to look right down into the sea and through the crystal clear water you can see the fish and coral below. Your own access to the water is a great way to cool off or stroll two minutes to virtually your own beach. The owners have provided all the amenities: a full kitchen, washer and dryer, ceiling fan (though with the wonderful breezes it was hardly needed), a/c in the bedrooms, even WIFI if you want to stay connected. The apartment was clean and well kept. A quick walk you are at the local market for most of your needs. There is an oceanfront restaurant (Merton’s) across the street from the little market serving fresh fish which was delicious. There is access to public transportation to get to almost anywhere on the island. Seaspray is away from the hustle and bustle of the resorts yet convenient to the necessities. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else, it was the perfect choice.

Sea Spray offered us an ultra smooth landing coming all the way from Sweden for vacation. Transfer from the airport, warm welcome and info of importance for the stay was professionally taken care of by Tricia. Positively surprised we also got the owner on the line both on arrival and take off, caring of our wellbeing. Concerning the property, everything was absolutely ok including equipment, cleaning, level of maintenance, layout etc. Furthermore, the location direct by the sea was breathtaking, both for your eyes and ears, the villa is truly a relaxing machine! Our absolute favourite among beaches became the north tip of Alleynes Bay entered via the super nice Ramshakle bar offering everything from good service and deck chairs to food and drinks (just south of St Francis Church). Snorkelling close to the shoreline we swam together with turtles, this experience took the price and made the deepest impression on all of us. Beyond expectations - if asked, we would recommend Sea Spray to our friends/relatives!

Nice clean, well equipped villa (internet access, ipod dock...we listened to Pandora while sipping rum punch on the balcony!). AC was a nice touch on warm nights & when the sun was pounding. Close to Holetown with its many restaurants and also to the scenic North coast. Nice beaches near by. Tricia, property manager, was very helpful/accomodative. One negative was the neighbors dog that barked a couple of nights. Hope you enjoy as much as we did.

Seaspray Totally agree with the previous reviews. The house is super. It was wonderful to fall asleep to the sound of the sea and to wake up to the same. We had breakfast with the patio doors open watching the local fisherman sailing past on their way to work! The house has all the facilities and equipment you need and the open plan layout is great. Both bedrooms and the en-suites are a good size and with lots of storage / cupboard space. Its also spotlessly clean. To add to the top tips from previous reviews we really enjoyed Ragamuffins in Holetown and Wendy's in Fitts Village for casual food. For more fine dining, Cariba, just passed The Cliff, was lovely as was The Fish Pot which is just a short stroll from the house. Re beach for small children, our 5 year son loved the beach space just next to The Fish Pot as a number of large rocks just off shore create a small pool that was waist deep for him. Tricia the manager was absolutely brilliant. Very warm and welcoming and incredibly helpful and responsive to our requests for information both before we left and whilst there. The owner called us during our stay to make sure everything was OK and wish us a happy holiday, nice touch which further demonstrates the care and attention that goes into running Seaspray.

The location is right on the ocean, perfect little beach down the stairs when the ocean is calm (most of the time). We ended up spending most days right there on our own private little beach and came up the stairs for lunch and drinks. Its close enough to grocery and restaurants. Amenities are fine, nothing fancy but the view and the small beach down from the house are to die for. Sunsets are great too. Highly recommended and one of the best place to stay that I've seen on the island. Tricia is very helpfull.

I used the internet for research and found Seaspray villa at Half Moon Fort St.Luicy, what a find The Villa was very suitable for us because of it's location with access to family and friensa in the parish The owner Mr Les Warner was very helpful to us with tips on where to dine and help with other important issues. Over see that required important work was done Tricia (manager) was very professional but also helpful and gave sound advice, manage the villa very well; was spotless bed linen and house cleaning was done often every week we were pleased with the way she organised and used her skiles. The location is fine with good pleasant neighbours Sea beach and surf is fantastic one can hear the surf day and night lashing at the back of the building's foundation, so soothing and the view of the caribbean sea with all it's activities, ships and all maner of sea craft too and fro across the vast sea It's nice to watch from the balcony the sun set, it's beautiful There are many mod cons that make one feel at home though away; there is internet connectivity stereos TV (direct TV) with lots of American channels to choose from AC for comfort, sweet We have had a good time and will be back for more on our next vocation in Barbados, will surely recommend the villa to any one who is interest in Barbados Excellent

The research that goes into finding the perfect place can be difficult. You really have to trust your instint. WE DID. As soon that we started exchanging emails with Tricia (property manager) we could feel we were in good hands. Other houses on the islands offered so much, some even a free car. but in the end, I believe that Seaspray is the ONLY villa that can offer million dollar view and the sounds of the water 24/7 with intimacy and privacy at this price. The villa was even better when we got there, all amenities you can think of are available for you to use. The location is a great one. away from it all yet 10 minutes drive to booming night life and restaurants. walking distance is also great. convinience store, fisherman village, bars and one amazing restaurant (fish pot). Larger local grocery store can be found within 4-7 minutes drives. we found a beach nearby that suited all of our needs and spent most of our 2 weeks there. the party comes to you once you lay on the beach. with a lot of respect, locals will come offer you deals on jetski, boat excursion etc. no need for a concierge at an expensive hotel. And Tricia can help you with any needs. The house has plenty of space and is very cozy. Good internet and satelite TV to entertain. We sipped Daiquiris and cooked food while looking at the sunset from our own private balcony over the water. it was splendid and we will surely be back shortly.

Just as advertised, maybe even better!

A wonderful home away from home. Two minutes walk to the local hangout of Moon Town where the food and conversations is great. Braddy's Bar in Six Men's Bay best for fish fries. Speightstown right down the road has delicious food also, and nearby beaches are beautiful. Sunsets off the deck of the house, with the waves crashing on the coral below were unforgettable. We had plenty of room for ourselves and two kids. Wireless internet and satellite TV for downtimes worked perfectly. Location worked so well for us as it was away from the big resorts, but close enough to major roads to see the entire island. Property manager, Tricia, was helpful and sweet. Place was cleaned to perfection by Ellen. Only caveat is the the beach right below the house is not really easy for little children to use. Not a real problem as so many others are so close by.
