Two-bedroom penthouse in downtown Jackson, walk to shops, dining, activities, and galleries.
Cozy in-town living with views of Snow King, Wyoming’s very first ski area. Penthouse on Glenwood 401 is a bright and airy two-bedroom condominium in the heart of the Town of Jackson, yet its fourth-floor location offers great mountain views and some privacy. The former can be enjoyed from the primary bedroom, the combined kitchen/dining/living area, and, when the weather allows, an expansive south-facing terrace—it extends the entire length of the apartment—with a grill and outdoor seating area. When the weather doesn’t allow, enjoy the views from in front of the double-sided gas fireplace in the dining/great room.
The perfect Jackson Hole flat, Penthouse on Glenwood 401 is urban living, Wyoming style. Within walking distance are all the amenities and restaurants of downtown, and, slightly further, trailheads on the Bridger-Teton National Forest.
One block from the Center for the Arts and three blocks from iconic Jackson establishments like the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, the historic Wort Hotel, and Jackson Hole Playhouse, Penthouse on Glenwood 401 is a snowball’s throw from all downtown Jackson’s restaurants, including Snake River Grill, Persephone Bakery, and Trio Bistro. Also within walking distance is the elk antler-arched Town Square and Snow King Mountain. Across the street is Vertical Harvest, an innovative four-story greenhouse that grows 100,000 pounds of tomatoes and greens used in high-end local restaurants (and that it is sometimes possible to take a tour of, which we recommend).
The primary bedroom suite has a king size bed, sitting area, its own entrance to the terrace, and a wall of windows that face Snow King. Its bathroom has a double vanity, walk-in shower, and deep soaking tub. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed; its bathroom, which has a single vanity and combined shower and bathtub, is just out its door.
In the kitchen, JennAir appliances, including a gas range, are any chef’s dream. An island has seating for three and the dining table seats four. The property also has a hall closet and laundry room.
While the restaurants, entertainment, and shopping of downtown Jackson are a short walk from this penthouse, that doesn’t mean the wild spaces Jackson Hole is famous for are difficult to get to. The southern entrance to Grand Teton National Park is 12 miles away. Cache Creek, a hiking, Nordic ski, and biking area beloved by locals, is a 5–minute drive. Park at the main Cache Creek trail head and it’s only a 15-minute hike before you’re in designated wilderness. Cache Creek is one of the best places to spot moose in the valley. Guests can also bring or rent bikes and enjoy the paved pathway system that connects the Town of Jackson to Wilson, Teton Village, and even Grand Teton National Park. Once your lodging is secured, a member of The Clear Creek Group Concierge team will work with you to build an itinerary for your visit to Jackson Hole!
