The main road is at the bottom of the hill with a regular mini bus service into town or alternatively going north towards the quaint market town of Grenville
The house is quiet and serene and the hilltop has a wonderful breeze all year round.
Le Phare Bleu Marina is less than a 5 min drive into Egmont. Restaurant guests have access to the infinity swimming pool.
La Sagesse nature reserve beach and restaurant is just a short 10-15min drive along the coast. The restaurant is also well worth a visit and the shallow water in the bay is beautiful for swimming.
St Georges is a hive of activity with daily markets of fresh produce and fish and if you take the route across Marian you will drive past Fort Frederick taking in spectacular views of St Georges.
Westerhall rum and Clarks Court Bay distilleries are within a 5 min drive and well worth a tour.
Umbrellas Beach Bar on Grand Anse Beach is a must for delicious freshly prepared food at great prices and even better atmosphere.
The new local well stocked Supermarket SOG is a 3 min drive and there are several great roadside fruit and veg vendors along the way.
There are so many fabulous places to add to the list I could go on and on but if you venture to the north of the island try to take in Petit Anse and Belmont Estate working Cocoa Plantation , museum and restaurant in St Patricks.
A Car/jeep hire is advisable to explore the amazing Spice Island and we can help you with recommendations.
