Brand new kitchen with all the stainless appliances, gadgets and utensils to make those fabulous meals. Two bedrooms with comfy queen sized beds and new linens. New marble bathroom spotlessly clean and bright. Hardwood floors throughout, wood blinds and simple uncluttered decor. Xfinity high speed internet, Comcast HDTV with all the channels and DVR. Laundry has large capacity machines with detergent supplied for those short term stays. Covered parking and plenty of off street parking. Never pets or smoking in the home. This is your sanctuary after a long day out exploring!
This is the second time I’ve stayed at this property. The owner provides good amenities and communicates directly with guests. The property is centrally located to many restaurants, coffee shops, interesting beer houses, and UNM. The house is fine for 2-4 people, it is small so don’t try to squeeze in any more people. The kitchen is good with working appliances and very good dishes and tools. There’s a nice little backyard patio. When visiting ABQ, I will come back to this property. The one (almost a negative) issue is that there’s very limited seating for four people in the living room. During this last trip, the Icelandic poppies were in bloom and beautiful (right outside the window) and I watched a roadrunner walk down the path in front of the house. That was fun to see because I kept looking for a roadrunner.
This is the 2nd time that we've stayed in this owner's properties, once with family and this time just my husband &me. Doug 's properties are well maintained and always clean. Doug is very responsive and always helpful. I would recommend a property of his to anyone.
Highland Business was a great place to stay. Very clean and organized. If you are a walker, very easy to walk to Sprouts for groceries and to restaurants, yoga and the meditation center. Quiet neighborhood.

5 Stars all the way. Where to start, I mean the place had everything you would need. I spent 11 days and couldn't have been happier with the place. Very clean not run down in anyway. Laundry room was neat and convenient. Plenty of towels, TP, dish soap and even laundry detergent. The location was awesome. If you wanted to swing by whole foods, go to dinner, indoor rock climbing, in door shooting range, or grab a bottle of spirits it was all within 5 miles. Thanks again Doug. Sincerely, Jason
I really liked the home, but it would benefit with some better pillows. After the third night, I had a stiff neck. ( We stayed four nights.) Benefits of the house: VERY CLEAN! The kitchen was well organized and supplies what you need if you don’t plan to prepare large meals. Towels and bedding was very good (except for the pillows). Xfinity TV and Internet provided. A/C and heat works great. The neighborhood is quiet and parking was easy. Down sides: As I mentioned, the pillows need to be replaced and there were a few items in the kitchen that I wished had been there because I prepared several meals. But we got by just fine. Furniture is minimal and really suited for only two or three people, four is a crowd. I would stay here again.
The apartment was well furnished with what we needed to enjoy our stay. The location is close to Nob Hill shopping and is convenient to freeway access. We would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was small but well appointed and perfectly comfortable for our week-long stay. The cable and internet were excellent. We will look to stay here again in a heartbeat!

Located in the middle of a triplex, this small 2 bedroom was neat and clean and just what we needed. It is within easy driving to Nob Hill, UNM, parks and places we wanted to go. We spent most of our time at our children's house, but slept and ate breakfast there. Queen bed is very comfortable. Kitchen has basic equipment needed for a quick breakfast, but don't expect to prepare a full meal (use take-out) as there is limited space and seating in living/dining area. Thanks, Doug, for quickly responding to our questions and allowing our stay to go smoothly.
The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It’s within walking distance of a local coffee shop, groceries, restaurants, and a serene park. The owner, Doug, made sure to check in with us to see that we were comfortable.
The apartment is clean and well equipped. The beds are comfortable and the back yard is a nice extra. The neighborhood where the apartment is located is OK, but it is not the Nob Hill neighborhood highlighted in the ads for the rental. This is blatant false advertising. The apartment is in fact at least half a mile from Nob Hill. We knew where we wanted to stay and we were very disappointed! There was only one decent restaurant within walking distance and no place to walk for a morning coffee. We were told we could take public transportation anywhere in Albuquerque but this comes with some risk: several people we met there warned us that it not safe to take the bus. Our own experience and what we learned on the Net confirmed this.
Great location, comfy, clean and well organized.
I hadn’t downloaded the app on my phone so I had to email the owner who promptly emailed with entry instructions and answered a question about parking. Very helpful. Unbeknownst to me even intended to meet us at the check-in to let us in personally. The home is not a typical VRBO, but well stocked, as if it’s a person’s second home. Everything works well, from the laundry machines, to a great showerhead, to a great coffee maker, to a great refrigerator. The towels are similar to luxury hotel towels. While A cursory view of the neighborhood appears undesirable, that’s not the case. A neighbor introduced himself, we went for walks at night, no issues, no challenges, no threats. There are neighborhoods within walking distance that are undesirable, this is not one of them. Book with trust. Location is flat, there is no view. Good news is: We weren’t here to sit and look out the windows. ( shopping, great restaurants, hiking and biking trails within short driving distance (30 to 45 minutes). The Wi-Fi is off and on, but more on than off. There is a semi private backyard sunbathing area.
Stayed here with 2 other friends for 2 days. Such a cute and comfy apartment! Very clean and the owner was wonderful to work with.

This rental is clean, comfortable, and close to everything we needed. The property was well maintained and nicely furnished. The location was perfect - within walking distance of grocery store, coffee shops and a brewery. The neighborhood was quiet and off street parking was a plus. Doug was responsive and helpful. Was very satisfied with my stay at the property. Unit is very well kept,like new actually. Appliances were very nice and in exellent working order. Beds were extremely comfortable. We had never been to New Mexico before, and wanted a comfortable homelike environment to spend four nights in a central location. Albuquerque fit the bill, only an hour from Santa Fe and a slightly longer drive to the amazing Chaco Culture Park. Albuquerque itself is a colorful and fascinating city to explore. This condo had everything: Very quiet, In a safe and attractive neighborhood and all the comforts of home. Doug, the owner, met us when we arrived to show us around the condo and he is a friendly and knowledgeable host. We never saw him again but he was very clear that if we needed anything to let him know, so we appreciated that he was unobtrusive but available if we needed his help or advice. If you are visiting Albuquerque this is an ideal place to stay!
This little casita is in a great location. Comfortable and well appointed, our stay was most enjoyable. We were met by our gracious host who ensured we had timely access. Highly recommended!

This was the perfect location for us for this stay. It's convenient to get to Nob Hill, Downtown, and Uptown areas of Albuquerque. A coffee shop, local eateries and a grocery store are around the corner. The street is quiet and the neighborhood feels safe with many people out for walks with their children and dogs. The house is clean, comfortable and worked well for three guests. Our hosts were attentive but unintrusive--fab!
This is a very nice, comfortable place. The remodel has preserved most of the original construction, which I like. But it also has all the upgrades needed for a clean and comfortable look, feel and stay. The location is very convenient. I would definitely stay here again.
Convenient location to restaurants (try the Artichoke Cafe), grocery shopping (Sprout's), UNM, Interstates. Clean. Very comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. Well-stocked kitchen. (I think this is the first VRBO or AirBnB that had a dish drainer.) .
