This apartment is within walking distance of anyplace in Ashland, while still being a quiet and private location. It has a nice kitchen and comfortable living and bedroom area, and a spacious bathroom. Perfect for our visit to Ashland.
I never stayed at this property Your application has a glitch
This unit is in a great area close to downtown Ashland and a short drive to Medford. Owner lives next to the studio, but it's separated by a two car garage. Rick ( owner ) was easy going and available if needed. I would come back to stay again when visiting the area. Recommended if you are visiting the area, very high scale unit.
Perfectly lovely home away from home. Our 6 year old grandson stayed with us 2 of our 20 nights, and the sofa bed was very comfortable.. very clean, with all the conveniences.
Wonderful place right next to United Bike Institute where I was attending school for a week. Perfect five star location for UBI. Decent location for Ashland. You can walk but your not right downtown. Everything was as promised, clean and nice. Will stay here again if I take more classes at UBI.
We really enjoyed our stay, very clean, well-stocked with kitchen items. Nice neighborhood, we felt safe walking into town (about a 25 minute walk). Lots of TV channels! Nice bathroom and shower and comfy big bed.
Neat, tidy, exactly as represented in photos. Very private and quiet. We will return.
Gorgeous, well-appointed studio in quiet neighborhood. Pleasant walk to town. Gracious manager. We recommend it highly and hope to visit again next year.
Comfortable spacious everything ready for our stay.
The unit is outstanding. It is well appointed, spacious and modern. While we dined out often, the full kitchen is a plus for guests wanting to cook their own meals. The drive to central Ashland is a mere five minutes and parking was always easy to find.
Perfection every way!
My wife and I loved the apartment. It had everything that we wanted, modern touches, quality furnishings, comfy bed and privacy. We would definitly stay there again. The only draw back was it is a little more of a walk to downtown than we prefer.
Beautiful and clean place! Would stay again.
Perfect place. Ambiance, kitchen, living room with great TV. Quiet. Close to town. First rate hosts. Fourth visit! Will come again and again.
The studio was beautiful and very close walking distance to town.Perfect for the single traveler or couple. Would most definetly come back to rent this precious of a gem studio.
Everything as advertised
We enjoyed our stay in this unique apartment It is well furnished although awkward for entertaining - designed for just for one or two. Only a few minutes drive to the town center and Shakespeare festival, it is not truly walkable, especially for older folks. Quiet and with very convenient parking. There were a few shortcomings with service items which were quickly corrected by the caretaker. On balance - responsive service, pleasant environment, comfortable bed, excellent shower, and sharp knives...something not usually found at rental apartments, where the owners never have an actual food prep experience.
Spacious, clean, well equipped and quiet. I would highly recommend it and would come back again. Porsha was a very responsive host.
The property was homey, roomy, bright, beautifully furnished, well stocked, close to downtown, and a pleasure to come back to in the evenings. We would not hesitate to recommend the property to others. Also, thanks again to Sophia for getting us out of a jam!
I look forward to staying in this studio the next time I’m in Ashland.
Quiet location, great owners, any thing you needed was there.
Porscha's Hideaway is really lovely -- spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all mod cons. We spent 6 nights there in August 2017 and truly enjoyed it! We visited for the Shakespeare festival, and it's perfect walking distance and super close to downtown, in a very quiet unit adjoining the garden. Sadly, heavy smoke from the surrounding forest fires made it a challenge to be outside while we were there, but there's a lovely patio table as well as the seating inside the unit. Great communication for the reservation and with any small question we had. Thanks, Porsche and Rick -- we'll definitely plan to visit again!
We love this place! From kitchen to living room area, to bedroom to bath, everything is spacious, comfortable, and attractive. While we don't walk to town, we could, and the drive is less than 5 minutes. The hosts are wonderfully accommodating. And as we've been coming for a number of years, we are also aware of how they keep upgrading the place. My only hesitancy in writing this review is that we don't want too much competition for renting! :-) We travel a few times every year and this place is one of our two or three favorites in the whole world!
This is a beautiful studio, perfect for just us two! Clean and sparkly with everything you need for a getaway! Really quiet; there is an upstairs unit I believe but I didn't hear any noise from it at all. We were even greeted by the Ashland Deer community when we drove in! Close to wineries, downtown Ashland (definitely walkable) and a perfect getaway place. The power went out due to a thunder storm and our host was right there making sure we had flashlights and to see to our comfort. (Power was restored within 30 minutes).
Ashland is delightful and the best way to visit it is by staying in a lovely studio like this one. Located near downtown and adjacent to the historic railroad district the studio is optimally situated. The neighborhood is quiet and the hosts give you plenty of privacy. Studio is spacious, fully equiped and tastefully decorated. Easy to stay here for week or more...
Nice and very spacious studio with modern decor and amenities, comfortable king bed. Well equipped kitchen with quality appliances and utensils. Recommended!
Porscha was attentive but not intrusive. She made sure we had what we needed and we were comfortable. The yard in back is beautiful and welcoming. We walked or rode our bikes back and forth to several plays. Have not moved our car since arriving. Overall a wonderful 5 night stay. Thank you Porscha!
This well-designed and elegantly decorated studio, with its high ceiling, is roomy and could house a couple for months at a time. The bed was very comfortable for both of us (firm mattress with a foam top for comfort). The bathroom is large enough for two people to easily get around each other and is where the laundry machines are located. The AC and heater both worked well. I walked 10 minutes to the spectacular Ashland Co-op every morning. Walking to the theaters is fine when the temperature is below 80 and takes 15-20 minutes. We plan to stay here again in the autumn to see plays that hadn't opened last month. Thanks, Porscha, it was a treat!
This studio was perfect for my stay in Ashland. It was sparkling clean, very spacious for one person with plenty of little areas for me to work, cook, rest and unwind.
Surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers and a clean paved driveway. This ground level suite immediate made me feel at home. Staying here for two weeks the location proved to be very quiet. I chose not to rent a car for the duration of my stay and was able to walk to downtown Ashland in minutes. Every morning started with a breathtaking view of the Ashland foothills at the end of the driveway. My first, but not last, stay in Ashland was wonderful, large in part to the beautiful place I had the opportunity to enjoy while here. Thank you, Dale
My wife & I wanted a relaxing place to honeymoon, and while we had decided on Ashland, I obsessed on accommodations for several weeks. Looking at many sources on options, I finally chose the studio @ Porsche's Hideway and after the stay, my wife mentioned it couldn't have been more perfect. A big spacious studio, with all the amenities, and in a great quite area that is very close to the heart of the city. Plenty of towels, toiletries, dishes, spices - all the little things that oft get over looked & add up to a lot of inconvenience if left out. Off-street parking is a great bonus as well. Thanks Porsche, we will be back soon!
This is our second year staying at this property. Porscha and Rick are wonderful hosts. The studio is perfect for 2 in size and details. We will be back again. Thank you for making us feel welcome.
Close to everything, needs a new bed!
This is a beautiful place with all of the comforts of home. We have been to Ashland many times and usually stay at a bed n breakfast. This year we thought we would try something different and we were not disappointed. The studio was open airy with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. When the sun comes up the room is very bright, this is great if your an early riser but if not you may want to bring a sleep mask. We look forward to returning
We enjoyed the beautifully finished studio apartment and well supplied kitchen. There's even a washer dryer which would be great for longer stays. We found the location inconvenient for walking to town and the beds too soft for our taste. Off street parking and air conditioning a plus as well as cable TV. Landlords were very responsive.
Turn key is a perfect description of this studio apartment. The best supplied kitchen regarding cooking utensils I have found in any of the homes we've rented in Ashland. That's important to me because we are gluten free and eating out for every meal is not really an option (although Ashland has quite a few choices!). The distance to the theaters was farther than listed in the description, just over 8/10 of a mile and average walk time was 17 minutes. But the walk was nice, even late at night after an evening performance. If it is just the two of us coming to Ashland (without our sons) as we did this trip, we would definitely stay here again. We want to take advantage of the free wine tasting in Jacksonville! we had plays both afternoons we visited so could not do that this time.
One of my favorite places ever! I can spend hours in their beautiful garden, sipping wine or coffee, depending on the time of day. Very clean, romantic, comfortable. Pack less; everything you need is there. Very conveniently located, flat walk to town.
This studio apartment was awesome. Large, full kitchen and bathroom with laundry and super clean and comfy.
We had an extended stay here while attending the UBI course this summer. Porscha's studio was perfect! Beautifully appointed and suited all our needs. Easy bike ride into the heart of downtown from here. A/C is a blessing in the 90-100+degree heat of July in Ashland! Porscha and Rick are gracious and accomodating hosts. The only minor drawback is that the wall to the adjoining unit is not particularly soundproof, and therefore, activities can be heard easily. With that said, I still highly recommend this lovely studio, and would stay there again!
I've stayed in the larger adjoining unit before and was just as pleased staying in the smaller unit. Both units are clean, spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. Great outdoor areas. We will definitely stay again. The hostess is very accommodating.
My boyfriend and I frequently visit Ashland from Portland to take in some plays at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. For our trip in June, we chose Porscha's studio. What a great escape! The temperature was in the 100s while we were there, and I can assure you the A/C in this unit works wonderfully!!!! It cooled off enough outside in the evening that we were able to enjoy a bottle of wine in the beautiful and peaceful garden. Don't be surprised to have deer come for a visit! It was a touch too far of a walk to the theaters for us. It might have been the heat, but it's more than a mile walk. The pictures are a perfect representation of the whole place. The bed is very comfortable, spacious bathroom with great water pressure in the shower, and good quality towels. The kitchen has pots/pans/utensils, and the all important wine opener and glasses! Nice tv with easy to use remote, the couch was a comfortable spot for us both to unwind before heading to bed, and the wifi worked great. Porscha was so wonderful to work with before and during our stay. I would definitely stay here again.
My husband and I spent four nights here while seeing Oregon Shakespeare Festival plays. As others have noted, it's very spacious, immaculate, private, generally quiet, and elegantly appointed; close to parks, a fairly short & pleasant walk to theaters & dining & Lithia Park (cross Hersey for sidewalks & lighting all the way to Oak). The central air conditioning, wi-fi access, and back garden add to the studio's overall comfort and convenience. Sounds of voices & laughter from the adjoining larger house did cause us to require earplugs for sleeping a couple of nights, but it wasn't a big problem.
I travel often with my fiancee and I was so pleased when I opened the door to this very tasteful high end studio. Everything about this clean comfortable vacation rental was upper end and perfectly planned out with the comfort of the guest in mind. The location was perfect and in minutes I was downtown eating at some wonderful restaurants. The walk was very du-able but I prefer to drive. My fiancee loved the choices of HBO, showtime and many sports channels and I loved the wireless internet as I work on my computer and cannot afford any down time related to internet access. I would not hesitate to give this vacation rental a 5 star.
I loved staying at this immaculate, beautiful, well-decorated studio. The space is extra large, laundry room, great lightning and more. I loved the central air conditioning. The wireless Internet was a plus. We visited the charming town and was delighted that I could cook a full breakfast, have a glass of wine relaxing in the very tasteful kitchen area. I would be happy to give this the best rating. I plan to rebook.
My friend and I have been visiting Ashland for several years. We were pleased to find this lovely studio within easy walking distance to the Shakespeare Festival. And as described it was very spacious and beautifully appointed. Porcha greeted us kindly and additionally offered information about local wine tasting.
I joined two friends for a lovely three-night stay at this property during our October OSF play-going sojourn. We normally stay at a hotel downtown and were not sure how we would feel being farther away. To our delight, this accommodation lovely, gracious and quiet. It is all new, with a beautiful kitchen and bathroom and hardwood floors. We had plenty of room and enjoyed wine and cheese and breakfasts around the granite island. All of us kept commenting on how perfect it was. As a runner, I was delighted to discover there was not one, but two parks very close by, where I was able to run each morning, while my two friends took walks. We did not miss being downtown at all. The garden out back was beautifully landscaped with many birds and flowers. The owner, Porscha was wonderful to deal with--efficient and accommodating. I got my full deposit back in 4 business days after leaving. We were so happy to discover this lovely property and look forward to staying there again! Thank you, Porscha.
