After years of work, we finally open the doors of Dar Almoravide patiently renovated exclusively using traditional and noble materials: marble, zellige of Fez, cedar, tadelakt on the walls and wrought iron.
The house is the perfect choice for visitors in search of authenticity and want easy access to the main sights of Marrakech.
It is located in a quiet area of the Kasbah, in the heart of the old Medina, near the Saadian Tombs and El Badi Palace.
The Djemaa El Fna and the souks are just 10 min walk.
The house consists of 3 bedrooms each with a separate bathroom, two traditional lounges, a kitchen, a richly decorated patio, terrace with shaded seating and a second panoramic terrace.
The capacity is 7 persons.
In the rental price includes the airport transfer, and the services of a housekeeper.

It would be our second trip to Marrakesh and we were not disappointed. We tend to always go for riads to get a greater feel of the culture of the Moroccan people and like on our first visit the hospitality was brilliant. Kudos to Hafida- who cooked all our meals (which was delicious) and she even made us an almond cake . She was friendly and also suggested places for us to visit. She helped to arrange our transportation to Essaouira- which was a brilliant day out- Marhaba Hafida. Our riad was comfortable , clean and very spacious. Rabia - the property owner responded very quickly to any queries and was always available to communicate with. In all, it was a wonderful holiday and I would suggest that if you are planning a holiday in Marrakesh- TRY OUT A RIAD
The raid stayed cool despite the high temperatures. Hafida is an absolutely terrific cook so take the opportunity to ask her to make dinner for you for a small price.
The property is located close to sites, but quieter and less touristy then other Riads. Hafida was there with local information on the city and Muslim culture. We don’t speak Arabic or French, but used apps to communicate. The space is beautiful with traditional tiling and wood carving. There are a variety of areas to enjoy in the house- two sitting rooms and two terraces.
This Riad is a palace - with elegance and real charm - it is in the heart of the Kasbah with access to cafes, shops and the most glorious fresh fruit and veg markets. The owners are on hand via Whats-app and get back promptly; the place is overseen by the hard working housekeeper/source of invaluable information, Hafida whose breakfast are delicious, In the two months of my stay, this place became a home; in all the right meanings of the word, except instead of Bristol gloom I could sit on the terrace in glorious sunshine and look at the El Badhi Mosque, walk to almost every main attraction and place.and cook and write in luxury. I cannot recommend this place enough; nor Morocco for that matter. I am already planning my next stay

I don't know where to start! Our stay at Dar Almoravida was fantastic. We loved the neighborhood- the neighbors were so friendly. The souks were close by & dear Hafida made our stay memorable. My husband celebrated his 50th birthday during our stay. Hafida prepared an unforgettable dinner & she & Her lovely daughter Youssa made a birthday cake & celebrated the event with us. I highly recommend Dar Almoravida for a multitude of reasons.

This was an amazing and immersive Moroccan residence. The courtyard and fountain had gorgeous geometric tiles and a rooftop deck had an orange tree and city views. The two living rooms were beautifully decorated and the WiFi was just fine (some minor, weak spots in the house but very reliable in most areas.). The bedrooms were very comfortable and quiet. Just steps away from the front door were the Saadien Tombs and the souks. Hafida was the star of the stay with her lovely manner and beyond wonderful breakfasts. She was so kind and even returned later in the day to the Dar to help us communicate with a taxi driver for our daughter’s arrival. Our stay at Dar Almoravide was was an amazing experience!
The riad is beautiful and Christophe and Rabia have obviously taken great care in restoring and maintaining it. We were there in late December and nights were very chilly but the heaters in the bedrooms kept us very warm. The riad is perfectly located and the end of a quiet street but still an easy walk to sights, the market, etc. Christophe and Rabia were so helpful with answering questions as we planned our trip and were always very responsive. Hafida, the housekeeper, is a true treasure. So welcoming and warm! She created a festive holiday atmosphere for us with a Christmas tree and lights and other decorations as well as delicious bûche de noël on Christmas Eve. Her daily breakfasts were delicious and her mint tea the best we had our entire time in Morocco. The whole experience was perfect and we will not hesitate to stay in this riad again our next time in Marrakech. Thank you Christophe, Rabia, and Hafida!
