I absolutely loved my stay in the trailer! It was a home away from home! John + Jeanie are wonderful hosts! They went above and beyond to make sure Coco and I had everything we needed and we comfortable! I would definitely come stay there with them again! The deck was beautiful and so relaxing to enjoy a meal, read a book or just sit and enjoy the incredible view and beautiful nature! The drive into the main town was gorgeous and very enjoyable. I loved staying in the trailer and would stay there again in a heartbeat! Thanks again for a fantastic stay! 3
We had an amazing time on our trip. The camper was very comfortable and even though a heat wave was happening we were very comfortable on the porch for dinner time. Short drive into Ashland, which is so cute! We took our daughter to the splash pad at Garfield park and she really enjoyed herself. We also took daily walks near the property, deer are everywhere! We would definitely stay again if we ever visit Ashland. Thanks for our gun GLAMPING trip!
We never stayed in a trailer but it's really comfortable. We only stayed for two nights, but our 6 y.o. son (and us, too) enjoyed our stay. John was great, showed us around and then we didn't see him (they live next door), but we knew he was available when needed. Recommended!
A very peaceful quiet stay just 20 min from downtown Ashland
Located at the end of a twisty, windy road, this quiet RV ground is great for enjoying nature and getting some rest. Everything worked, the host was friendly and welcoming. Very quiet and peaceful
The RV is a lovely and affordable way to spend time in Ashland. John and Jeannie were very sweet hosts - showed me around and left me to my quiet stay. They loved my dog and provided everything i needed. The spot is 15 minutes south of town which gives you solitude if you’re looking for it and a quick drive to the sights of Ashland. Close to lots of hiking and Southern Oregon beauty! I definitely enjoyed my stay!
We enjoyed the stay in this lovely trailer. Everything was perfect. Great location, so peaceful, close to Ashland (cute little town). We brought our two big dogs with us. There was more than enough room for all of us. John was such a great host and the trailer had all the supplies we needed and was very clean. We all slept like babies. We would definitely come back!
The family and I just wanted to say how much we loved being at this beautiful property. We really just wanted to spend some time with one another, read and relax. Walk some parks and just enjoy the moment. John introduced himself and I just have to say, he exudes love and kindness. We had received several emails from Jeannie and we truly had a fantastic time. We are hoping to get out there again soon. Stay Blessed!
John and Jeannie are such a wonderful and kind couple. Their property has incredible Mountain Views and a lovely and spirited drive on the tree-lined road. John has built a spacious and private outdoor area next to the trailer to enjoy a cup of tea and picnic by the fire pit. You won’t need to bring much in the way of toiletries as he’s provided everything you can think of!! I slept like a babe in silent woods and woke to grazing deer just outside my door. I enjoyed getting to know my hosts and they were always available for any needs but also respect your privacy. I’m booking my next trip at their property. It is glorious!!
We had such a wonderful experience at John and Jeannie's place. Secluded, yet close to Ashland. Everything we needed was at our fingertips! The setting is country mountain and our hosts were the best! The RV is spotless and the outdoor living area is amazing. Best vacation in my life! I will definitely be back! Thank you for this, John and Jeannie.
My kids and I along with our dog were on a road trip and for spring break and spent our first two nights here. We were greeted by John and he gave us the scoop to enjoy every moment. The property is beautiful and everything was very clean and ready for us. We had such a lovely stay and my kids and the dog were so happy. The trailer was stocked with everything we needed including all we needed for s’mores by the fire at night. Our hosts thought of everything we may need from comfy beds, nice linens and card games. The drive to town is short n sweet as well as beautiful. The kids and the dog played outside and we all had a lovely time. I felt safe and welcome with my crew as a single mama.
We loved our stay with beautiful surroundings and our most amazing and considerate hosts! Thanks for a great week!
I'm so glad we chose to stay here for our visit to Ashland! The drive down from Ashland is just beautiful and the location is close to Emigrant Lake where I took daily hikes with our Mini-Schnauzers while my husband was at a conference in Ashland. (Emigrant Lake is halfway between Ashland and the VRBO.) John and Jeannie are lovely hosts and we shared evenings of wine, food and great conversation with them. (If you want total privacy, that's fine too. We like to get to know our hosts.) The cute travel trailer is clean and cozy with everything we needed: Comfy bed, heat, hot shower, large refrigerator and freezer for the food I brought and it's PET -FRIENDLY! The outdoor area has a new gas grill, gas firepit, and bistro hanging lights which made for magical evenings. I had never stayed in a travel trailer before and would do so again: It was surprisingly comfortable. There's a couch for a child to sleep on, if needed, and a dedicated dining area as well. We did all of our cooking outside on the grill, but you can cook indoors if that's your preference. The kitchen was big enough for easy prep and clean-up. We were thrilled to find such a well-cared-for place in the country to enjoy with our pets. The deer visited twice daily so we had to keep our dogs on leashes to prevent them from chasing the deer, but that worked fine. This part of Oregon has lots of dry brush with stickers that clung to the dogs' legs so that was a pain, but it's part of being so close to nature! The location is only about 8 miles to Ashland so it's close enough for convenience but with the benefit of being in a really quiet and beautiful location. John and Jeannie are new at being VRBO hosts and I'm so glad they are now sharing their family/friends getaway next to their home with VRBOers. This is our new go-to spot for Ashland visits! Thanks John and Jeannie!!
John & Jeannie are super welcoming, generous, & enthusiastic. Their property is nestled just off the road & the trailer has an expansive, comfortable outdoor area. We saw so many deer and birds over our stay. One day a deer was sitting in their driveway like it was a pet. They provided many extras & it was very convenient to Ashland and our whitewater rafting trip. Very cool air conditioning and everything you need to relax.
