House was fantastic! Highly recommend!
This home was almost perfect in every way! Well equipped. Comfortable. Beautifully decorated. The *best* views and accessibility of the river. Comfy beds. Close to town, but far enough out that everything feels secluded and tranquil. There is enough to do at the cabin to keep you entertained during your stay. I really could go on and on. The communication with the proper manager was excellent. My quibbles were so minor that they don't even feel worth mentioning. It's a beautiful home, on a beautiful property, in beautiful Hayesville. We will definitely return!
A beautiful setting and a beautiful home. So many details to this property made our stay comfortable, pleasant and fun. Our children loved playing in the wide open spaces and along the river bank, while us adults enjoyed the serenity and sounds of rushing water and the beauty of the forest all around. The house is well supplied with whatever you need from espresso machine, waffle maker, to a beautiful teapot and Wedgewood tea cups (for those like me who enjoy a proper cuppa!) loved the dishes and cooking utensils (all made us feel right at home) The bathrooms are spotless it felt like we were the first to stay here! Very comfortable beds and temperature was easily adjusted for comfortable nights sleep. We appreciated the availability of the property manager she was so friendly- sincerely kind and helpful! The location was perfect…Our children enjoyed camp at the John C Campbell Folk School just 15 minutes away. Thank you to the wonderful family who have opened this property up to those of us who need a nice get away to the NC foothills! God bless all who stay here!
Clean, comfortable and well appointed cabin along a picturesque stretch of the Hiawassee! Beautifully updated bathrooms with high quality glass doors and fixtures. Very useable open spaces with tiled entry area and functional counter and stools. Kitchen has premium appliances and a large sink. Outside features a large open deck with railing and an amazing view of the river. We launched two kayaks from the left side of the dock, due to the water level being lower, but there’s a nice stairway on the right side for when the water is higher. The driveway has shaded paved parking and motion floodlights. If I had one negative, it would be that the master bedroom needs to have its mattress replaced due indentions, but that’s it. Linens and towels were of high quality and they even had separate outside “beach” towels. Everything worked properly and I was able to even find a screwdriver when I needed one. Thanks for a memorable father son Memorial Day weekend!
This place is perfect. The river is beautiful and very relaxing. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit while listening to the river flow and the stars above us, it was great. Cannot wait to return and spend more of those days. The home has everything you need plus more. Excellent taste in finishes. Thank you for allowing others to enjoy your home!!!
