Some destinations worth visiting
• Point Addis: (5-10 minutes) has a magnificent view of the ocean. Turn off is located between T Torquay and Anglesea.
• Split point lighthouse Aireys Inlet: This is around a 10 minute drive beyond Anglesea on the Great Ocean Rd. Tours of the lighthouse can be arranged. There are also some good walks around the beach areas there.
• Lorne: 25-30 minutes along Great ocean Rd. A great place to visit and enjoy on a fine day—beautiful beach.
• Torquay: 15 minutes from Anglesea.
• Geelong: It is 25 minutes to the Southern end of Geelong, about 35 minutes to the City centre. It is well worth visiting Eastern Beach and the Botanical Gardens. For shoppers there is Westfield (Geelong City), Waurn Ponds and strip shops/KMart in Belmont.
• Bellarine Peninsula: Some places well worth visiting here such as Barwon Heads and Queenscliff.

Good location and nice stay.
Was a perfect little location for our stay to get some beach time. Very clean and has all you need for a great getaway. Quiet, nice birds around and good feel to the place. Thanks
This house is perfect for an Angelsea break..quiet and comfortable with owners easy to deal with
Second time staying here. Close to the beach and mountain bike trails. House is very comfortable with everything we could have needed.
This holiday house was the perfect long weekend getaway for my family. It's a good location in Anglesea, the property description is accurate and the communication with the hosts was speedy and effortless. We really enjoyed the stay. Thank you
Fantastic!
Good location, very affordable for family weekend at the beach
The Ware's Retreat house was firstly very easy to find. It was absolutely fabulous for us. It was practical, comfortable, extremely clean and tidy on a very quiet block. It is especially close to the picturesque Point Roadknight Beach. Tracey communicated with us straight away when it was necessary. It was perfect for our beach holiday! Thanks Tracey and David very very very much!
Lovely neat house, everything you need, bit of a hike to the beach but a short drive if you didn’t want to walk. Will definitely stay again
We had the best time here, our kids exhausted themselves at the beach which was so close. We're coming back for sure!
