Unique Villa on the Most Beautiful Part of the Island

The description is false and misleading - it does not warn about the MAJOR issue. The property is severely infested with insects, some of which can be dangerous (wasps and locusts). The infestation is so severe, that in order to use any surface (counters, tables, chairs, etc.) you have to clean a lot every morning. Insects get everywhere – in your food, eyes, cookware, etc. They even get into the closed bedrooms through the large cracks between the doors and the floor. The pool is impossible to use - it is covered with a layer of dead insects. This makes the whole property look filthy and unpleasant. Some other amenities we paid for, we could not use too - the third bedroom (again, very dirty, no WiFi and not working light), the grill (no gas) and the safe box (locked). We paid for a quiet enjoyment of the property as advertised. Instead, we had to clean every morning for a couple of hours to make the place usable. Therefore, the description is false and misleading – certainly not corresponding to the pictures posted. Ownership/management does not pay attention to the insect problem. When we informed the management about this situation, the response was, if we don’t like it, we can move, but they don’t have anything to offer. The bathrooms have no ventilation - the smell inside is quite heavy. Finally, the property has a lot of metal gates, which the guests use several times a day. They are very heavy and rusty and difficult to open/close, which makes them very unsafe to use.
