For group or a family get away, we offer 3 bedroom self-contained basement suite with ground level private entrance (1 bedroom w/ queen size bed and 1 bedroom with queen size bed and 1 double bed) PLUS 1 bedroom room-no door but with curtains for privacy and with queen size bed. Feel at home in our spacious guest suite that has most of what you need. The host live one level up(upstairs) so you know your needs will be taken care of.
Our location has the view of Horse Lake (10 minute walk to nearby boat launch and 15 minute walk to the main boat launch) and is very close to nature trails. Perfect for viewing wildlife, biking, hiking, riding ATV and dirt bikes, boating, fishing, tubing,wake boarding,or just simply swimming on the lake, soaking in a relaxing sunset or riding a jet ski in the summer time. In the winter time, experience snowmobile ride along cross country trails. All these outdoor activities can be done in just a few distance from our backyard. And if you decide to do a little bit more, there is always something seriously fun here for everyone. We can help you plan for your adventure if you need some information , whether it is a horseback ride or skiing or going out for kayaking, canoeing, golfing, white water rafting, sightseeing tour, dining, parks and wildlife, festivals and arts, SPA and entertainment (rodeo, etc.), there are countless ways to spend your holidays in the scenic and beautiful South Cariboo and we will be delighted to assist you. Guests can enjoy all these outdoor fun and without spending a fortune on accommodation in pricey resorts, etc.
A single kayak can be rented while we provide life jacket at no cost to you.
Guests can have access to all the amenities in the suite (self-contained and very private), making it a very comfortable living space for the guests. The basement suite is ideal for family with a full kitchen with dishwasher, oven with stove, fridge, freezer, coffee maker, bread toaster , microwave oven, utensils, etc, dining area, living/sitting area with couch and 55' TV,bathroom with toilet, shower room and separate bath tub, bedrooms with closet ( 1 has view of the lake) and computer desk and chair.
They can also enjoy the outdoors. We have spacious green lawn, where they can play outdoor games (we have horse shoe pit) or just sit and relax while enjoying a camp fire. (if there is no fire ban) or the gorgeous view of the lake.

There is a strong cellphone signal in the area.
Shopping and dining is just 7 minutes drive from our location. There is also a full kitchen in the suite that guests can use in preparing their meals. Our location is close enough to busy downtown area but far away to enjoy tranquility and nature.
Please note that:
1.Dryer and washer are available for a fee $10 each load, also there are 2 laundry services (Laundromat, etc.) in town just 7 minutes drive from here.
2. We have no baby crib or cot

Property managers/owners were very friendly and helpful.Suite was very clean and spacious. If anything, the description should clearly state that the accommodation is a basement suite (owners upstairs). That would be nice. And the walk to the lake is more than 5 minutes (it's about 10). But really great owners! Would stay again!
