We had a great time! Recommend smaller bunk beds. Had to squeeze thru to get in. Mattresses were very comfortable
Awesome time once we made it up the treacherous hill. Had to drive backwards and get help from the locals...lol, but we made it! Made for a great story!
Thank you for a great stay. Master bed frame is broken. Was like that when we arrived. Looks like whoever put it together missed a couple screws. Couple of opportunities for future guests. Have more kitchen towels in an easly findable location. Have salt, pepper and cooking spray available. Living room TV is terribly slow. Grass was needed to be cut. Path to fire pit was not clearly marked. It is not a 5 minute walk to the swimming area. As a guest I would have paid 30$ a day for a golf cart rental associated with the house. Having a house rules “check in check out” sheet would be good. Awesome place though. Will rent again for sure !
The place was really nice but its not as advertised. The house needs a few things if youre staying for more than a day or two. We made it work and enjoyed the area though.
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was very nice and clean and exactly the right size; however, I think the description is a bit misleading. The pictures make the cabin appear within walking distance to the lake. I also think the pictures suggest there are kayaks and canoes available for guests’ use. The cabin is not really within walking distance - at least not in the way the pictures suggest. And, as far as I can tell there were no kayaks and canoes available. Having said that, we were comfortable in the cabin. One room is completely full with big bunk beds. The beds are all comfortable. I probably will not stay here again, but if someone with a big crew of kids was looking for a comfortable and reasonable place to stay - I would heartily recommend this space.
The accomodations were clean and welcoming. The access was a little difficult and really requires a 4 wheel drive vehicle. I would suggest adding more pots and pans to the house collection - it was difficult to cook at the house with only one pot and one pan to choose from. The listing on VRBO states one of the amenities is the kayak but they are not part of the rental. I never found a broom and we had sand from the beach tracked back in. I would suggest adding a broom and dust pan. Yard needs a little work - it is mostly weeds and they were pretty tall. It appears the house is fairly new so I am guessing this will get better over time. We did enjoy the house and the amenities that were there.
First of all, I will book again. The house was as advertised other than the amenities and proximity to the lake; otherwise, it was great. The listing said just a walk to the beach with kayaks and paddle boards, but there was no close walk and no kayaks or paddle boards. After booking, I was notified no kayaks or paddle boards were not provided. Also, we couldn’t walk; we had to drive, but it was a very close drive. Otherwise, everything was great and we we will book again. If you don’t want to be directly on the lake, this is prime property. Other than those 2 small details, it is a great stay. Not to mention that the owner is very flexible and everything else is amazing.
