Location, location, location. This home is super close to Heavenly Ski area. Just a few blocks away. This home is also a quick 2 minute drive to the casinos and The Village.
This cabin boasts a downstairs in-law suite, large sun deck, and a private hot tub. Enjoy traditional charm paired with modern appointments for a luxury lodge experience.
Curl up by the crackling fire in the evenings and enjoy tranquil forest views through the soaring two-story vaulted windows. Here, you’re close to a plethora of outdoor activities, from winter skiing and snowboarding at Heavenly, to summer hiking and water sports on nearby Lake Tahoe.
INSIDE THE HOUSE
The main living room features a wall of windows overlooking the deck and seven-person hot tub. There’s plenty of seating here for you to enjoy Tahoe sunsets, or catch a movie on the 46” flat-screen TV with DVD/CD stereo -- all while staying warm in front of the gas fireplace.
The newly remodeled main kitchen is fully stocked and has everything you need to prepare meals. A long wooden dining table seats 8+ guests with flexible bench seating.
Downstairs is a second self-contained 1,100 square foot apartment, making this the perfect cabin for combined groups. The in-law suite offers a cozy living area with a leather couch, (Presto Log Only) burning fireplace, flat-screen TV, separate dining for four, a newly remodeled kitchenette (without stove), a bathroom, and a bedroom with a queen bed. There is also a new washer/dryer.
On the main level is the master bedroom, boasting a wall of closets and a flat-screen TV. The adjacent master bathroom is newly remodeled with a tiled walk-in shower.
Upstairs are two more bedrooms and a large bathroom. There is also an inviting loft area with a full-size futon, TV, toys and games, and peek-a-boo views of the lake! The fourth bedroom is the in-law suite downstairs.
There is a two-car garage and large four-car driveway. The driveway is completely level and flat from the street so it is easy to maneuver on those snowy days.
Outdoor wood-burning fires and charcoal grills are prohibited per local ordinances.
THE LOCATION
The cabin is set on over an acre of land and is surrounded by undeveloped forest. It’s a few blocks walk to Heavenly Mountain Resort, where spectacular skiing and snowboarding awaits. Walking home is easier than walking to Heavenly because there is a small uphill walking to Heavenly. There’s also a great sledding hill just down the street!
For an evening out, visit Heavenly Village and/or the casinos -- just a short 2 minute drive away. Filled with art galleries and shops, there’s something interesting for everyone; grab a bite to eat at Basecamp Pizza or Azul Latin Kitchen while listening to live entertainment. Kids of all ages will enjoy ice skating in the winter, and mini golf in the summer.

Location is wonderful. House is wonderful but in serious need of TLC. Very dirty and full of dirt and cobwebs on the outside. Hot tub was nice but had sand at the bottom and is not working properly. Was still nice tho. Too many light bulbs out to count. Towel racks and hooks falling off the wall. Ground floor toilet broke but easily fixable. Would not flush but temporarily fixed it while we were there. Railing needed walking up to the front door. Main floor deck railing is wobbly and unsafe. The house is awesome but in desperate need of some tlc. A/C cover in the stairway is not attached and fell on my foot and injured me. Fix that please. Towel racks and shelves are about to fall off the wall in the ground floor. Many windows are hard to open if you can open them at all. Needs maintenance. Ground floor coffee maker leaks and can not be used. There are 2 toasters on the main floor and the black one cans be tossed. It doesn’t work. Desperate need for a railing in the stairs leading up to the front door. It’s dangerous. Stains in the carpet leading downstairs. Blings broken throughout. Railing off the 2 upstairs bedrooms is very wobbly and dangerous. Needs to be secured. We loved our stay and would tent again but it’s sad that it’s so in disrepair. Could be so much better!! And not be an inconvenience to the renters. We shouldn’t have to be fixing toilets and not able to use towel racks and blinds. Such easy repairs. We are ‘do it yourselfers’ and could easily fix everything in a day. Hope this is helpful.
This was just beautiful. We enjoyed the views, sunsets, and nature on all sides. The hot tub was fantastic and it was so quiet and convenient. Plenty of fans available if things got warm. Huge refrigerator. Just wonderful.
We travel to Lake Tahoe once or twice a year and this was the best place we have ever stayed! The location was great. The cabin was fully stocked with everything you need and the area was beautiful. The reservation and check-in process was also very easy. We would love to stay here again!
Everything was great. No real concerns. Only 2 minor things to mention were that there were some ants on the kitchen counter. We sprayed but it may need to be looked at. Also, the AC box cover on the wall fell off during really high winds. We put it back up but you may want to add a hinge or something to hold it.
My family has rented the same cabin in Yosemite since I was a child. My immediate family which includes three sons two daughter-in-law‘s and five grandchildren, have been looking for a Tahoe home to rent every year as well. We have found it. The cabin is extremely clean, well-equipped and in the perfect location.
We loved this place! The location is excellent, the house is well stocked with everything you would need to cook family style meals and great amenities. The check in process was simple, the house is clean and everything worked. We would 100% stay here again if visiting Tahoe! Don’t sleep on this spot.
Had a wonderful stay here with my family. Hot tub, bbq, and full kitchen made our weekend escape from the Bay perfect. Just a short walk away is a great sledding hill in one direction and Heavenly resort in the other. Great biking and biking trails too (check out Power Lines trail!). Short drive to lake and grocery stores. I will note that there are four bedrooms (3 queen or bigger, 1 with a bunk bed) and the fifth is in the loft over looking the family room. Lots of blankets and towels, with a fireplace that makes the house toasty warm! Will stay again!
Loved our stay here! Beautiful house and very spacious. The hot tub was amazing and the house had everything we needed although we could’ve used a few extra towels. Would love to stay here again!
Beautiful home with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for a large family! Huge lot with privacy, close to town and lake activities!
We loved our stay in this amazing home tucked among the pine trees. GREAT for families. Easy access to restaurants and lake. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!
