Crystal Bay, Nevada
This charming house couldn't be better located for North Lake Tahoe enjoyment. For winter fun, drive or take transit to Northstar or Diamond Peak 10 minutes away. If you are looking for one of Tahoe's best lakeshores, look no further then Speedboat Beach, a short southerly walk away from the house through quiet residential streets. For the more excitable, walk the other direction for the Crystal Bay Club & Casino, Cal Neva, Biltmore and Mellow Fellow Bar. Tahoe's finest food and entertainment can be found here in Crystal Bay and Incline Village. The house has 1 bedroom on the main level, and a large loft/bedroom on the second level. The home can comfortably sleep 4 people in beds. It has a king bed in master and two twins upstairs. The home can be cozy and romantic for two or family/friend friendly for 4. Lots of floor space so the home does not feel cramped at all. The kitchen is open and accommodating with quaint sitting area for 4-5. Gas BBQ grill on the back deck is available and a must in the summer. The backyard is great for kids, lots of space on a mostly level lot.
We had a great time staying in this awesome place. It's really close to multiple nice beaches and we had a great time enjoyign the summer weather. The owner was really helpful with a couple issues we had in the place and came the same day to fix the problem. Awesome communication with the owner
Just as described and host was very responsive. Great stay.
We were pleasantly surprised by the interior of the home when we checked in, the photos in the listing don't do it justice! Had all the things we needed for a small family of 4, but we could have benefitted from a window AC as it was very hot even with the provided fans and fan we brought from home. The shower could have been cleaner but overall a really great stay with close proximity to North Tahoe. Speedboat Beach was fantastic, get there early because the water level is so high there's very limited space on the sand. Would stay here again!
This is a very cute cottage right on the Cal/Nev line, with easy access to both Incline Village and Kings Beach. The host was responsive to any queries we had. The yard is very large with a fair amount of privacy. The kitchen is nicely equipped but there are some missing items in my opinion. My only wish was that there was a view of the lake.
While the cabin was charming, the location was not. The area is so run down and looks depressing. The north view is a three story crumbling parking garage. The west view is a fire station. The southwest view the chain link around the dilapidated Cal Neva resort. The old Biltmore is also boarded up. Crystal Bay Area is terrible. It was so bad we left early.
This is a very comfortable location. Quiet area. We stayed 5 days/6 nights. Nicely decorated and had all of the amenities needed. All hard wood or ceramic floors. Up stairs has two singles and tv/game area for kids. All of the dishes and silverware needed. It’s easy to get to and navigate around the local area. We would come back and stay here. Thank you!!
My husband and I came down for our 14th wedding anniversary. This was the perfect place for our stay. The property was in a great location, it was quiet and cozy. We would definitely stay again.
Great Location (maybe mention it's the first house on the left at the corner would be helpful)! Easy access in and out. A small cozy place to park for a few days, chill in the back yard with a glass of wine, and relax at the end of a day hiking. Everything was laid out well. Kitchen and bathroom were great. One comment - flagstone steps were a bit loose which could be a trip hazard for older folks. Bathroom could use a few more hooks or towel bars.
Great place. Well stocked kitchen and easy access to all of the lake.
We felt right at home. No issues at all!
All as expected. Great Location.
Love the house but the patio was the best! Location was spot on with a short walk to Speedboat Beach . We will definitely be back next summer .
This is a nice house to stay in North Lake Tahoe. The house is updated and furniture/beds/kitchen are nice. We did not use the upstairs but there are two twin beds and there is a futon that looks like it could be folded out easily to sleep two more people. There is only one bathroon so 6 people could be a challenge with only one bathroom. 4 would fit nicely. Close to Kings Beach and Incline Village, but walking to the lake can be a bit of a trek. Very close to some nice mountain bike/hiking trails. Use an app to find access to those. I rode from the house and was able to do a asphalt climb to a fire road. It is about a 1200 foot climb to single track.
I stayed here with my two teenage boys and we loved it! The location was perfect for us with Kings Beach only a 2 minute drive away! The downstairs is spacious, the kitchen has everything you need to cook your meals, the backyard is a relaxing space, and the water pressure in the shower is amazing. We had a great time during our stay.
Home was very clean and have no complaints. Unfortunately the area that immediately backs up to the home is made up of old historical casinos that are closed down . Backyard view is a parking structure that is somehow tied to the two small casinos still in business.
This was a wonderful getaway. I was surprised at how quiet it with a casino that close. Loved that they lad GOOD shampoo and conditioner and body wash in the shower. As a flyers there is only so much I could bring on the plane. Would stay again if I come back.
This was our first time ever using a short-term rental. My husband, 2 kids (7 & 10), and I were looking for a place to relax and get away. We chose this rental because of the reviews. This place exceeded our expectations! Just like most reviews the property itself was better than expected. The property is so clean and beautiful. The upstairs was perfect for our children, there was an Xbox with lots of games provided. There are also board games and card games provided to have a family game night. It’s not pictured and it was not in the description, but there is only a shower in the bathroom, no bath tub. I appreciated the detachable shower head in the shower. Also, located in the bathroom was a stacked washer and dryer that worked great with small loads. The one thing I was unsure of was the infinity mirrors located in the bathroom, I thought it was weird but my husband and kids loved it lol! The kitchen had all the basic necessities cooking oil, salt, pepper, pots pans, toaster, regular coffee maker. We did not utilize the BBQ, but all the tools were provided. Safeway and Raley’s are a short drive from the property, if you need groceries. I had brought my own items, but a lot of the basics were provided. Laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, towels, extra pillows and blankets, sunscreen, bug spray, toiletries. Although I prefer my own toiletries, the only thing you really need are your own toothbrush and toothpaste. The 10 minute walk to Speedboat Beach was easily done, but if you have younger kids I would suggest bringing a wagon. The property is only a short drive to Kings Beach recreational area and the Stateline Fire Look Out. All great places to checkout. The only thing that worried me was the casinos literally next door, but it was not an issue as that whole area did not seem very busy. In fact the neighborhood itself is very quiet. Of all the features that this property has to offer, my kids loved the backyard area because of all the wild life that ran through the yard. Lizards, rabbits, and squirrels. We made sure to utilize the bear box because that was one creature we did not want to see. Overall, definitely would recommend this property to a family of 4 or a couple looking for a quiet getaway.
Cozy & very clean cabin close to everything.
Loved the house. It was a great place for our winter vacation. Thank you Ryan for this experience. We will definitely come back next year.
