Stayed Nov 5, 2024The property setting was beautiful and the sunsets amazing. We really liked the house. However, we discovered one of the beds had not been changed late at night and had to hunt for linens and change it. When we contacted the guests services in the morning they asked if we wanted housekeeping to come out. I replied yes and asked for them to let us know when they would be coming. They never showed up. The next morning I asked what happened and they said they never got my reply. I looked and it was on our text thread. When I said that was not true and sent pictures they said they reviewed it and there was not a problem. It is too bad because it is a nice place to stay but the follow through was not good. I sent a letter and pictures to the owner.

Stayed Oct 22, 2024This property is fairly new and is very nicely appointed. It has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The view is amazing and it would be comfortable for 2 couples. A car is necessary.

Stayed Sep 1, 2024Vacasa was not correct at all with check in instructions. They sent a 10 digit code for a 4 digit dial. There was NO LOCK BOX WITH A KEY. It was an access code for the combo on the door. The house was very dirty. It had not been dusted in a very long time. The panels on the doors where white white with so much dust. There was so much grease on the stove top i had to go buy a cleaner to get it off. There was pink mold in the shower,the towel bar is just about ready to fall off. The toilet was dirty,i got the brush to clean it,it was covered with pink mold. TOP TOP IT ALL WE OPENED THE MICROWARE DOOR AND THE WHOLE TOP OF THE MICROWAVE FELL OFF HITTING MY HUSBAND. SOMEONE HAD BROKE ALL THE CLIPS AND IT WAS JUST SITTING THERE. I CALLED AND TEXT SENT PHOTOS, THEY SAID THEY COULDNT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. THEY REFUSED TO GIVE US ANY CREDIT FOR ANY ISSUES. I PLAN ON SENDING THE OWNER ALL THE PHOTOS I SENT TO VACASA AND LET HIM DEAL WITH THEM. WE WERE SO VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THAT HOUSE. THE 1ST TIME WAS SO PLEASANT. VACASA NEED SOME SERIOUS HELP WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEM.

Stayed Aug 4, 2024We loved the house. This house was done amazingly and is incredibly clean. It was more spacious than anticipated. We had 4 adults, two 7 year olds and a 3 year old. The bay just behind the house is a bit mucky. The main intention was for the adults to be able to sit in the yard and the older kids play to their hearts content on the 'beach' area on their own. This did end up happening, which was amazing, but took some time for them to be comfortable with the ground (more muddy and some light sinking happening). They ended up still spending hours out there though, catching tiny sand crabs and saving more jelly fish than I could count. All in all a great stay, and the hosts were prompt to respond, the house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. If you are looking for the beachy vibe, this might not be what you're looking for, but if you looking for a great house, that is incredibly quiet and has great views over the bay, this house is amazing!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Beautiful view, clean house and very comfortable beds. We loved our stay. We saw a couple of gorgeous sunsets. Kitchen was well stocked and water pressure in the showers was great! Only negatives would be the bath towels and washcloths were really scratchy. They need some fabric softener. The steak knives were super dull. I had a difficult time even cutting an onion. Overall we would absolutely stay there again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The house was clean and quiet, the kitchen was fully equipped (something that is super important to me when I look for a rental) and it was right on the bay! We didn't turn the TV on once; the views were just too nice! My only regret in booking this place, is that we couldn't stay longer.

Stayed Nov 4, 2023The view and closeness to the water were fantastic. Living room furniture and beds themselves were extremely comfortable with good quality linens and extra blankets available. The water pressure in the shower was lovely. Nice dishes and silverware and there appeared to be a good supply of other kitchen utensils, bowls, etc. Property was very clean and quiet and in like new condition with tasteful decor. We did not use any of the TVs (living room and in each bedroom) nor do any cooking as the friend we visited in town hosted us/took us out for meals. There are minimal stairs at this property which was helpful for my elderly mother, who walks with a cane. There were just a few things that kept our experience from being 100% perfect: I would have appreciated having luggage racks in the bedrooms, robe hooks in the bathrooms, and higher quality bed pillows; and being allowed a slightly later checkout, which I requested at the time I made the reservation but was not honored. I know these things won’t likely matter to all guests though.

Stayed Jul 23, 2023Our first time in Coos Bay and it was fun and relaxing. We were close to dinning and outdoor fun or we could have stay in to enjoy the board games, basking in the sun on the bay, watched the tug boat go by, enjoyed a movie night and board games. This house had everything we needed for a carefree stay. We will definitely come back!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The home was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The view of the bay is fantastic. We saw lots of shore birds, hummingbirds and even a raccoon visiting when the tide was out. The location worked well for us. Close to Sunset Bay State Park and Shore Acres, hiking trails and playing on the beach. Empire donuts and dogs was a favorite stop daily and it's just a mile up the road. Luigi's is also just up the road and offers delicious sandwiches and other Italian fare. For those of you looking for fish and chips or fish tacos, we highly recommend Millers at the cove in Charleston. (about 7 miles away) Very likely to rent this home again in the future.
