Victoria was great, and I had a nice stay at her house. Good location and nice neighborhood.
The property, the location, the process were all good. I didn’t realize ahead of time that there was an upstairs and the creaking and late night crying and running was unexpected but not bad enough for a negative review. I just would want others to be aware going into it
First morning got woken up at the break of dawn by running screaming kids staying in the connected house above me. That night we were kept up by the new group partying and making noise right by the room my daughter was trying to sleep in. Thankfully after a couple hours of noise we asked them to move to another part of Thier house and they did they were nice. But we didn't know we were sharing a ceiling multiple doors and there was only one access point. In case of fire in the front we would be trapped. The space was nice and clean great location just wish we could have gotten proper rest and not had to deal with being woken up and not allowed to sleep.
Spacious home in a nice neighborhood. Good street parking. Responsive owner.
Although the location is amazing, the basement home was noisy with a running and crying child upstairs at 7 am even though the quiet hours are listed as 8 am to 8 pm. The home seems to be newer to VRBO and doesn’t seem quite ready for guests, especially 9 as stated on the site. Their is water damage to the ceiling in the newly remodeled bathroom, electric cords run under the beds, and no heater vents in either bedroom we used. The host was quick to respond to messages, especially when we asked for more blankets. The home has a ton of potential. The kitchen is sparse in supplies, no way could 9 people be accommodated for a meal, and seating in both the kitchen and family room is limited to 4. Kitchen towels, hot pads, extra trash bags, foil and larger bake ware would all be helpful. There were 2 skillets, but no sauce pans. Having utilized hundreds of VRBO properties around the world, a little investment and TLC is needed to make the home the quality that we have come to expect from VRBO’s.
This is in a basement of a house. It has 3 big useful bedrooms and lots and lots of room. The host did a great job providing everything needed and was super responsive. The only thing was if there’s people up stairs you can hear their tv and them walking but honestly it wasn’t much of a problem. There is no AC, which isn’t much of a problem but it does get warm during heat waves! Host mentions providing ac if needed.
