The location of our house allows you to not only explore central York, but also share the community buzz. Less than 5 minutes on foot is Bishopthorpe Road, well known for its colourful and independent shops, cafes and businesses; take a walk down the River Ouse; stroll along the ancient Roman walls to admire the city from a different view. York Racecourse is easily reached on foot in 20 minutes.

Ground floor:

First floor:
Two double bedrooms, both with double beds and storage space
- Front bedroom has ample storage in the form of a triple wardrobe, and vanity unit with mirror above, bedside tables and reading lamps.
- Rear bedroom has a built in cupboard, shoe storage drawers, a night table and reading lamp.
There will be some complimentary tea/coffee waiting for you which I am sure will be useful for those arriving after a long journey!
Fresh white bedding and towels are provided (hand towel and bath towel per person), as well as miniature travel sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel and soap. Other items included are a washing-up pack, toilet roll and kitchen roll, which will last a couple of days. If wish to purchase more for your stay there is a Sainsbury's Local less than 5 minutes walk away.
Guests will have access to the entire house and rear yard.

CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
Check-in time is after 4pm and check-out time is before 10am. A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time as this will cause disruption to my cleaner’s schedule.
Please note that you will be charged £100 for lost keys, so please be careful with them.

Broadband speeds are around 45-61 Mbps for download and around 14-18 Mbps for upload.
TRAVEL COT
A travel cot and mattress are available to borrow upon request, subject to availability, and at an additional cost of £20. Please ensure you message before hand so that I can arrange for the installation. Guests will need to bring their own cot bedding, including a bottom sheet. (I am afraid highchair requests cannot be met).
