We had a wonderful time! Our family thoroughly enjoyed the clean, comfort of your home. Being on the river was so nice and relaxing. We would definitely recommend and we will be back!
Exactly as it is advertised. Great spot on the river, very beautiful views. Will be returning.
We had a great stay and really enjoyed the river activities and large deck along the river to grill and chill in the water all day. The property had everything we needed for a great stay. Thanks for having us!
Great location. Everything was close by . Our favorite was going down to the concrete pad at the bottom and sitting in the water . The location seriously was perfect for all types of families .
We loved our stay in the Deck House! I asked everyone in our group (husband & 3 college daughters) their thoughts on the place. 1. So much brown! If you have any triggers about brown things (think paneling, floors, tile, cabinetry, even the fridge!) then you’ve been warned. 2. The view and the natural stone deck on the water are everything! 3. The floats and tubes were covered in muck and oil? Took us an hour to clean them enough to not be grossed out. 4. The welcome basket was very sweet! Thank you for that thoughtful gift. The starbursts on the pillows were fun! 5. The facial masks were a hit! 6. The A/C wasn’t great. It wouldn’t keep us from coming back, I’ll just have to bring a few extra fans. The tall fans don’t really hit you great in bed. I put it on a stool to help. I’m 54. I need all the cool air. 7. Location is AWESOME 8. So peaceful and the ducks are fun to watch 9. We had some spiders in the house. Eeek 10. Water pressure is kinda low but the hot water is fire! 11. Wi-Fi is strong and we could get some signal even down on the water 12. The sound of the water on the little dam was just what we needed. 13. The stars were visible and it was fun to lie on the deck and look at the different constellations 14. Super nice neighbors- who live there full time (mike) 15. Convenient to Rio Tubing & grocery store (Lowe’s) 16. Room for an air mattress in the living room if you wanted to bring some friends. Keep in mind- only 1 shower. We’ll be back ?
This place was amazing. the view was absolutely beautiful. i thoroughly enjoyed drinking coffee in the morning listening to the bird and the water flowing. The house was exactly as pictured. if we ever go back, we will definitely be staying here again.
Perfect
The property location was great. House was clean and comfortable great view and a nice part of the river. Had a great time.
Peaceful
We took a girls trip for a weekend getaway and this was a perfect location. We’ve stayed in this neighborhood before and we had an equally lovely relaxing stay. We cooked and sat on the outdoor balcony where we listened to the water and sipped wine. We will return.
This place comfortably accommodated 3 couples. Beds were all very comfortable. AC worked well (super important). This host really goes the extra mile with to welcome guests. They wrote a note welcoming our group and left a bottle of wine and mints on all the pillows! Kitchen has everything we needed. There was a Webster grill AND a propane griddle. There were lots of fun floats, kayaks, etc. and a cornhole set. The deck was absolutely spectacular and the outside afternoon temperature was surprisingly comfortable thanks to the beautiful tree canopy and the breeze from the river. You can hear the sound of gentle rapids not far away which was particularly lovely in the morning . There’s a fun bar almost within walking distance and another tavern a couple miles away and a grocery store around the corner from the house so that was convenient. The location was great! We enjoyed every minute of this 3day vacation. Highly recommend this river treasure.
This place was so fun to stay at! Great location and very clean.
Clean river house that may our needs. Able to float outside, had a great spot for cornhole, and neighbors were really friendly.
Excellent
My expectations of this place were met and then some. The place was perfect and the river was awesome. I will definitely be looking forward in staying here again.
Want to beat the heat, ride the river or just sit and hear the rapids? This house was perfect under huge pecan trees, well shaded, near everything and sit on that huge deck to see the river flow and hear the rapids just a short distance away. (Bring your hammock) Walking distance to tubing company too if you even wanted to leave. Truly beat the 100 heat with the breezes and view! I’d go back tomorrow!! Catering available too. Super easy vacation!
Great location, great property!
Carefree, fun, peaceful. Would do it again, and definitely recommend.
We had a wonderful time here. The house was clean and comfortable and the view of the river was excellent! I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be coming back in the future.
The deck house was a spotless cabin at a perfect spot on the river to catch trout. Check-in was seamless and location was so convenient to jump out of bed and walk in the river to hunt for some rainbows. Turns out there is a popular deep pool at the river access. Many guides visited the site throughout the day as well as other fly fisherman. We caught 10+ over 2 days. Double kayak was a bonus!
