After an issue with heat upon arrival all else was lovely. The management company was able to resolve the issue promptly and offer space heaters for the night. We loved the space this home provided with everything so new. It was very clean and offered many amenities, washer/dryer, BBQ, hot tub, black out blinds in the bedrooms, ceiling fans, great pantry with room for items we brought, lots of towels.....The views are wonderful and it's a nice peaceful area. Having the use of the garage is a great benefit too. This is a beautiful home and we loved our stay. We hope to return!
This was a great quiet location not far from town. We enjoyed the house and the peace and quiet. We had ZERO cell phone coverage out there (Verizon) but we did have the WiFi log on and it worked great. The house was spacious and very clean. We took the dogs- wish the yard was fenced but it was a minor inconvenience and a great view as a distraction.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The home is new with comfortable new furnishings and everything needed in the kitchen. The location is great near the lakes. A little bit out of town. Ice maker is small for our liking. Overall, a very nice property.
Really great place to stay. Fishing and other activities really close!
This home is close to many trailheads, has gorgeous mountain views, and it is dog friendly. We spent most our early mornings and afternoons relaxing on the back deck and also in the front of house. The inside of house is very open, bright and roomy, everything brand-new, and comfortably and tastefully decorated. The house also comes with a yard but note that it is not fenced in - long tie-outs worked well to keep dogs from going places they shouldn't. The yard itself is not a soft grassy area, so our dogs didn't care for it - that was the only downside of staying there - but the large clean garage made up for it - we used it for their play area. I am guessing it is insulated because it never got hot in there, even in 90 plus degree heat. The house itself does not have air conditioning (which I doubt most homes in area have), but once we figured out leaving windows open at night and using fans during the day, it never got hot in the house. We loved our stay and would not hesitate renting this house again! P.s. the house has a very clean and welcoming hot tub on the back deck - we did not use it due to the heat wave, but sure many renters would enjoy it!
This property and property management company are top notch! Extremely clean, comfortable, stocked with everything you need, and such an easy check-in process. Highly recommend!
We loved our stay here! The management company was amazing and had such high communication. They checked in on us and responded so quickly. The place was beautiful, very clean, and totally would book again. Highly recommend.
We loved this cottage and the amenities it had to offer! As a family of 5 (kids ages 4 and 5 and a puppy) from Texas we wanted a snow vacation near town, but not in town. Having the giant window view of the mountains was by far my favorite place to sit and drink coffee every morning. The kids each slept in their own rooms and having access to their own tvs, closets and the amount of drawers to put their stuff in while staying was so convenient. We made great use of the sled in the garage and loved the spare blankets all over the cottage (but mostly the living room. There was dish soap, trash bags, bath soap and shampoo in every bathroom, PLENTY of towels, all the kitchen necessities for cooking and the laundry room area off the garage was just so convenient to drop all snow clothes in daily and run a quick wash. We even used the dryer to warm up some towels for our puppy when he came back inside. The location of the cottage is absolute perfection - mountains on one side, lake on the other, the CUTEST neighborhood with the sweetest family that lives next door and it’s on a culdesac so the kids could just play in the snow right in the driveway without any fear of cars coming by. The cherry on top… the accommodating texts I received while staying really made us feel like we were given 5 star service. We had 12 inches of snow in one day and the host texted regarding snow plows and asked if we needed anything to let him know. No one in all the homes we’ve ever stayed in has ever been so accommodating. We have stayed in a lot of vacation homes and enjoy changing it up from time to time, but when we return to Pagosa Springs this will be our place every time. The amenities, the location, the house itself, and the host are ALL unmatched!
Overall our experience was good. The home is new, clean, and had the necessary cooking supplies we needed. We were going skiing at Wolf Creek and searched for homes with hot tubs. This home came up as having a hot tub but after we arrived we found the hot tub drained. The management company said it was only available over the summer which seems counterintuitive to me. After a day of skiing we wanted to come back and relax in the hot tub like we’ve done many times before when we’ve skied in Colorado. The other thing that annoyed us is that the day after we arrived they wanted us to get up the next morning and wheel the trash can full of previous guests trash to the street.
This property was a perfect size for our group. The open concept made it perfect so we could all interact together. With adults and kids, we never felt crowded. And it was close to shopping and the mountain. Wish the hot tub had been functional as it would have been a perfect place to watch the snow fall.
Wonderful property had everything needed, very clean. Wonderful stay with the whole family.
We were very pleased with our stay. The home was very comfortable and we were grateful our pets could join us. Bedrooms and baths comfortably furnished and kitchen met all our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub at night — particularly the kids!
The house must have been recently built or remodeled and refurbished. Everything was brand new or immaculately maintained. The neighborhood was quiet. The house was located with easy access to Pagosa Springs.
