Pros: -Comfortable furniture -Good amount of space -Modern, updated design -Good view - Would be NICE during the WINTER (maybe) Cons: -Terrible/no ventilation (we stayed when it was incredible hot) No cross breezes, large windows made the space very hot. Shades were broken for almost the whole week (we had to call several people to get them fixed.) -No comfortable outdoor space! -Steep, crumbling driveway -Lots of bugs entered the house, many widows that actually did open had no screens. -Fire alarm went off at 3 a.m. for no reason -Dishwasher didn't work (dishes were dirty when we arrived)
Very cool house, but there were a number of issues. VERY hot, had several fans running non stop all week. (To be fair, very hot July weather.) Driveway very steep and narrow, necessitating a 10 point turn around process to go back down the hill (backing down would have been very difficult). Internet was very spotty. Very steep stairs. (To be fair again, the house is built into the side of a hill.) Outside seating very limited, only four chairs outside the kitchen door on the west of the house, so essentially no view of the lake. Home was well laid out and nicely appointed. Great area, would rent another house in Tahoe Swiss Village, further down the hill towards the lake. But we wouldn’t rent this house again.
we loved everything about the house - hope to stay here again!
It had mice inside the home. Completely ruined our stay.
