Kirkwood, California
This is a favorite place to stay in Kirkwood with a garage close to the slopes!
NO WIFI at this property, but has cable.
The views from this townhome are worthy of a postcard—enjoy the “wall of glass" windows that look across Kirkwood Meadow and onward to Red Cliffs, unlike most condo's that face the street. The roomy, open plan living room is ideal for a small group or two to three couples looking to socialize and entertain. Even though this condo only sleeps 6, there is a ton of room! This is because there are multiple levels to separate the spaces. Whether you want to enjoy nature from inside by the big windows or take it all in from the large patio, this is the perfect place to do it. The second floor primary suite is equipped with a king, and the guest room sleeps two on one queen. A second full bath ensures everyone has space to prepare for their day as well as clean up after skiing. A Serta Air mattress sofa bed and half bath off of the living room offers extra guests a comfy spot to rest for the night.
The nice thing about this home is it sits back from the busy street and has meadow views. It also has a garage which is a huge plus and a rarity in Kirkwood. This home also has a nice cabin feel with it's wood trim and wood vaulted ceilings. The location of this home is a 5 minute walk to the lodge and chairs 5 & 6. There is always the shuttle which runs all day long if walking is not an option. If you love Kirkwood but want to avoid the noise from the restaurants and snow control bombs that frequently go off, this is a great option.

The property is very close to the ski lifts. The location is quiet and comfortable for 4-6 people. It would be even better if there were Wi-Fi and streaming services on the TV. Would recommend it to family and skiers.
Great property, comfortable beds, nice views. But the number of stairs was a big drawback for us! We are all over 70 and the listing never mentioned that there were 27 stairs to the main level…you really need to explain what “multiple levels” means in your description.
Close to meadow and slopes, great amount of space for four of us. The tv broke and the management team dealt with the issue very quickly and professionally. Overall, we were thrilled with our experience.
Could not have been better. Support from Pyramid Properties was outstanding.
Great spot for me to host my son and his teen friends for the winter ski break holiday. Kids walked across the street to the Solitude and Cornice lifts at their leisure. Beautiful view of the meadow, comfortable beds, and kitchen nicely stocked with cookware.
Clean and close to the ski area. Easy contactless check in and when the door code stopped working I was able to get though to a friendly person who quickly solved my problem.
The cabin was great. The only downside was trying to read the unit numbers when arriving late at night. The numbers blend in with the exterior paint and there is no light at them.
Kirkwood is Tahoe areas best kept secret. We went in the summer and enjoyed all of the beautiful lakes within minutes of this beautiful place to stay. We are a family of 5 and there was plenty of room for all of us. Very spacious and comfortable place to stay. The living room views and outside porch deck area was amazing. We will definitely be returning. Honestly the pics don’t do it justice!
We had a great stay here! Host is awesome and the condo is stocked with everything you’ll need for cooking.
Close to slopes for easy walk, or if having a lazy day jump on tram
My family of four and I stayed here while skiing at Kirkwood. I will outline pros, cons and know before you book: Pros—location is within walking distance to restaurants and slopes, very inviting and beautiful views, quite and relaxing, clean and spacious. Plenty of space—nice sized rooms, kitchen and plenty of bathrooms. Cons—you have to take your garbage to a group bin that is a ten minute walk (better to drive). Know before you go (not necessarily a con, but could be)—no wifi, only one TV in living room none in bedrooms (sometimes it’s nice to watch different things when relaxing), well stocked kitchen cooking utensils wise but out of cooking basics (pepper and oil), garage is pretty small (we did not attempt to park our Tahoe in it pretty narrow), middle floor where bedrooms are was pretty cold especially at night a little on the warm side on third floor living space, guests of this condo do not have access to the Rec Center. To be honest, I would book again but will probably try another place in Kirkwood. However, the house is beautiful and is in a stunning setting!
