Jaco,
New luxury house located in gated private community with pool, jacuzzi, cabana, bbq area with unforgettable views of ocean and sunsets. Wake up to toucan chirps at sunrise with cool refreshing breezes. A short walking distance to gorgeous water falls. Nearby Adventure Park with zip line, aerial tram, botanical gardens and zoo. Twenty minute drive to Jaco to find best dining, surfing, snorkeling, deep sea fishing and nightlife. Five minutes to small town of Bijagual for exquisite Costa Rican dining, bakery and bar.
Beautiful spot. Road to the house is rough but worth the trip. Nora, the on-site property manager is lovely and willing to do what you need.
Beautiful, comfortable property. Has everything one needs at the house for relaxing, including the blender for the Pina Colladas. The views are unforgettable, and the daily visits from the toucans and macaws makes this a wondeful place to enjoy your Costa Rican vacation.
This Villa is truly spectacular, sitting up close to the top of a mountain with a view of a Pacific bay. The house is very well equipped with everything you could need. The house is completely private and in the middle of a mountain jungle with an amazing number of beautiful birds visiting daily. The house was clean and very comfortable, and cleaning services were excellent. The pool is great and with Costa Rica's wonderful climate you can swim early morning to late at night. The outdoor BBK area is good, but could use a beer fridge out there. We found the directions confusing and had some problem actually finding the house, but were impressed when we did locate it. Your Phone cannot get you here; you will need a GPS. The villa is seriously remote and the drive up the mountain and especially down to the house itself is not for the faint of heart - A good 4X4 is ESSENTIAL! As well it is a 30 minute drive down a dirt mountain road to any real stores. I like driving and am used to 4X4 driving so I enjoyed it, but it is not an easy drive. We had water problems (But I do not thing tis is common), and we had occasional power outages which were quickly fixed. I found it odd that there was no actual dining area in the house itself; there are chairs around the kitchen island but no overhang so it is not comfortable. We ate most of the time outside at the Gazebo Bar area. We were here by ourselves for two weeks and with family for two more and even with six people the house is comfortable. Although it is often over 30C down the mountain, it was 25C up at the villa, so we never had to use AC at all. We were here for the warm weather and for a family Christmas and completely enjoyed the villa. I liked the remoteness and lack of Cell service or Internet (You can get an ICE cell service, but do not expect to use other Costa Rica providers here, and there was NO internet at all) I did not mind driving every few days to Jaco and just checked e-mail down there. I was here to relax with family in the lovely Costa Rica weather, so I can recommend this spot.
My family and I just returned from spending Christmas 2017 in Costa Rica. Krystyna and Gerald went out of their way to provide information and make our stay enjoyable. We had the BEST meals cooked for us each night by Nora. Highly recommend taking advantage of her culinary talents!!!!! The road to the house was challenging and recommend a 4 wheel drive. However the views and peacefulness of this property were worth the drive. The house was incredibly clean and comfortable. The gardens and pool were beautiful. The house was decorated for the holidays! Even white poinsettias were blooming in the garden surrounding the pool. Mango margaritas on Christmas Day while bathed in sunshine by the pool were amazing as was relaxing each morning with a cup of coffee watching the stunning sunrise. Even better was the sunset each night when the horizon would turn from a multitude of colors into a brightly starry sky. I highly recommend enjoying this experience and property! It exceeded our expectations and made our family Christmas a fun adventure. Thank you very much Krystyna and Gerald!
This home is just beautiful! Our family loved the place! The pool is great, the view is amazing, the road to get there is a challenge, so you will want a 4 wheel drive vehicle. There is the sweetest lady that manages for them. Her name is Nora, and i really feel like we have a friend that lives in Costa Rica now! I would reccomend the property to a friend and i would stay again. The only issues we had were, no television and no wi-fi. It would be ok, but we had to work so we had to go to town to do it. The people of Costa Rica are so welcoming! I think this was one of my favorite trips ever!
If you are looking for a luxurious, quiet place, look no further. The property is beautiful, and located within walking distance of a beautiful waterfall. The views from the porch are breathtaking. The house is new, with every upgrade you can imagine. The house is at the top of a mountain, and you will feel totally secluded, though the people who own a restaurant nearby are extremely kind. The restaurant has some of the best food you'll ever eat. If you're looking for an adventure, this is the place for you.the drive up and down the mountain has some of the most beautiful scenery you could see. The owner, Krystyna, was exceptional to deal with. She went out of her way to make sure we had great information about everything from a rental car to a cell phone, before we left. She also gave us the option of having our grocery shopping done beforehand, as well as the option to have meals prepared for us. This is an extra fee. We did have the shopping done, which I would recommend.
Spectacular location with beautiful views. Temperatures are several degrees lower than in Jaco, never used AC. Heated pool is a big plus. The house is brand new, everything is top notch. We had maid/cook option. Nora is the best. Waterfalls are just the short walk away. If you do not enjoy tourist traps like Jaco this is the place to be.
