Place was serene and close to the national parks. The farm animals were nice. What is lacking is a first floor bathroom and a more comfortable bed.
Cute, spacious for our party of four, and clean!!
My mom and I enjoyed the stay in this clean home. Loved the friendly dogs and enjoyed watching the variety of birds. Cabinets are labeled to help you find needed items and the use of a washer and dryer was handy. The only downfall was going up steps during the night to go to the bathroom; however, I took the opportunity to go out on the deck to check out the night sky. I could see the milky way
Clean, comfortable, well-appointed unit. The fresh fruit and coffee provided by the hosts were nice extras and much appreciated. This small farm property is quiet and relaxing. Very convenient for day trips to explore Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if on the area.
We stayed here for 2.5 days, and the kids already asked to stay here again whenever we visit the area again. The host family is so kind and really went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable (Lainey baked us bread upon our arrival!). It snowed on our last day there, and they even shoveled a path around our car and to our front door. Their two super-friendly dogs were always there to greet us, and the other animals on the farm were fun to visit with. It's a spacious, gated property, so the kids were able to play outside and walk the grounds on their own. The house is stocked with books, a few games, toys, and drawing supplies. Most importantly, the house is CLEAN. Thank you, Drake and Lainey. We really enjoyed our stay.
Both the house and the owners were very warm and welcoming and we loved our stay here! After a long day of exploring Sequoia it was nice to come back to a space that feels like home! We would love to return some day :)
A little off the beaten path but a gorgeous setting for downtime between national park exploring. Hosts thought of everything, great for a family with kids or a group of friends. Cozy and clean!
It was such a relaxing, welcoming, warming experience.
Enjoyed our stay . Home was very clean and decor was cute . Beds very comfortable. Location was convenient for our visit to Sequoia/ Kings Canyon and Fresno. Would highly recommend.
Simple hill country property
Our family of four loved every part of our stay! From pulling in and being greeted by the dogs, meeting Drake and Lainey, feeding Bill and Ted (the rams), exploring the property and playing games provided, our family kept saying how this was the perfect place for us. The house was clean and beds were super comfortable. We highly recommend this property for families.
We really enjoyed the fire pit and the bright starry sky! The house is comfortable and cute and the host family friendly and helpful. We enjoyed watching their animals and kids, and neither were obtrusive - very respectful.
This property was cute, clean, and worked perfectly for our family of five. The two bedrooms offered comfy beds with very helpful blackout curtains. The living space offered plenty of room to relax after a day of hiking. All the essentials were provided and much appreciated. It was fun seeing the sheep and Guinea fowl, but the kids loved the dogs the best. It was a short drive into the parks. The host family was very friendly! We definitely recommend this property.
My family and I stayed here for four nights and it was great! The owners provided a gallon of milk, cereal, coffee, oatmeal, a basket of fruit, and more. They have two beautiful dogs that were very welcoming. My wife and kids were happy about our stay here and we look forward to booking here again.
